Good breakfast, value of money

Location is a bit away from down town . Rooms are old fashioned , wash rooms need refurbishment

This marks our third stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Bethesda Washington DC within a year, and let me tell you—this place never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and top-tier hospitality. Now, let’s talk about the real star of the morning—the omelets! Fresh, fluffy, and packed with flavor, they’re hands-down the best way to start the day. The breakfast spread is always on point, but those omelets? Next-level delicious! And when it’s time to unwind in the evening, we know exactly where to go. Our go-to bartender, Joe, has been with us every stay, and he’s an absolute rockstar! His drinks are expertly crafted, and his friendly, welcoming energy makes every visit to the bar a great time. Between the incredible staff, the cozy yet upscale atmosphere, and the little touches that make each visit special, Embassy Suites Bethesda has truly become our home away from home. Can’t wait for stay #4! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!

The accommodations were beyond my wildest expectations. Beautiful room (actually, better described as a suite), breakfasts were amazing, offering a wide variety of choices including an omelet station, and the happy hour which offered TWO free drinks as well as free snacks was an unexpected surprise.

Only towel rack in the bathroom was within the shower enclosure itself as opposed to on a wall. Not thrilled with $20/ day parking fee but that is true in most hotels, so no big deal.

Loved the overall stay at the hotel which included: the hot breakfast, nightly reception, indoor and outdoor pool, lobby, room, super location walking distance to shopping.. The staff was well organized and attentive. We were very pleased with the accommodations we experienced at the hotel.

Some of the areas required maintenance which it seemed they were aware of and in the process of making the necessary repairs. Definitely did not appreciate the fee for overnight parking, very disappointing.

I absolutely like this hotel, stuff was extremely friendly, Room big and clean, I prefer a firmer mattress, in this hotel it was very soft for me. The description of the room stated a filled minibar, but it was empty, there was also no water, it was quickly brought upon request. we swam in the pool once, everything was great, on the first day I noticed an empty glass near the pool, it remained standing there for two more days, I would like more attention to cleanliness near the outdoor pool. The hotel administrators were always in touch, which made communication very easy, we were very pleased with our stay, the breakfasts were also quite good.

there was no water in the room

We have visited this hotel many times over the years. When it switched from being a Marriott to Embassy Suites, we were afraid that it might be a change for the worse, but they have kept all the good things and improved on a few. For example, there is a group of friendly and dedicated ladies on the breakfast crew from the Marriott days - and they are still there, now some 12 - 14 years, I think. The front desk staff are helpful and professional. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet, the internet works well, and everything works as it should.

The response from lost and found was poor - basically, "we'll do our best," followed by no word at all, even after several queries.

Very nice hotel, the rooms were very nice and clean, the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, there was a lot to choose from and they make you omelettes. The staff was very nice as well.

The indoor pool is closed most of the time because of swimming classes which kind of sucks because when it’s cold outside, you would like to use the indoor pool, so they should definitely do something about that, that’s really one of the only reasons we book this hotelon the website does it tell you that it’s closed for majority of the day. Also, they have the classes of students who go to Washington DC, and at breakfast time it is a total disaster, there was kids everywhere, eating all the food. One of the kids broke one of the waffle machines, and they were loud.

The suite was well-appointed - USB ports on every lamp, lots of drawers, access to the bathroom from the bedroom and the lounge area. Even though the (very noisy) ice machine was right outside the door, I didn't hear it at all when I was inside my suite - amazing! Staff were incredibly helpful and kind - offering to assist me with luggage or lending an extra hand when I was carrying things to my room. None of them had to offer that assistance, yet they all did. As a solo handicap traveler, I was grateful for this helping attitude - it takes a lot out of me when I travel, so sometimes a little assistance feels really wonderful to receive! Kudos the all the staff members I met at the front desk, the servers and staff at the buffet and throughout the property!

This place is huge! (notable since I have trouble walking very far) The parking deck was a long way from my room, but with the 3rd floor walkway, I could stay out of the weather to navigate from my room to my car. the light on the desk was very dim and I'm glad I didn't have to work much on this trip - it gave me a headache trying to finish my tasks. The only other downside is the cover on the ironing board in my suite would not stay on/was very thin, and it made it very difficult to get my clothes in good order before my event. It took extra patience to figure out how to keep the cover from moving every time I moved my clothes.

The hotel was clean, easy to access, smiling faces, and friendly staff. The room was very nicely appointed and spacious. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 10 was the mattress on the couch. It needs to be replaced. The mattress was thin, and the metal support bar pushed right through it. I had to sleep on the side or the other of the sofa bed as sleeping in the middle wasn’t an option. Otherwise, it was fantastic. You have an amazing staff. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Clean, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast buffet and nice getting happy hours drinks after a long day in the city.

It needs a little remolding. Nothing major just some TLC. There was peeling paint on bathroom door in the room. Rust on the waterfall decoration in the lobby. Dirty windows out front of the lobby. Nothing that was really a turn off though. The one thing I wasn’t fond of was the parking. They charged $20/day but it not very close at all and no valet. Plus there’s a 10 minute parking limit for unloading and checking in.
