Requested and got microwave oven and refrigerator. Nespresso machine was fun. Very strong coffee. Walk in shower had dual sprays, one both a hand held and on a rack. Morning breakfast $15 discounts. Can temporarily park your car at entrance, but have to leave key and fob with attendant. Filtered water dispensers on every floor. Large screen TV. Can load your own netflix account. Nice cityscape view front 9th floor. Able to pick up Amazon deliveries, and mailed out from front desk. Good high speed internet, but need to turn on VPN to protect your devices.

$30/day valet parking. Can't use breakfast $15 discounts for lunch or dinner. No swimming pool, sauna, or hot tub. Some of gym equipment was in need of repair. Requested repair, was never fixed during my stay. Front desk was on 3rd floor. Somewhat awkward. Staff said my reservation was applied to my Hilton Honors account, but not seeing it. Probably because I booked on Booking.com? No Silver status. Also, extra charges from Canopy appeared on my card the day after I left. No explanation what the charges were for. Ok, if you rely exclusively on Blind Faith!

Lighting, nespresso machine, room lockbox, and shower were great. Very friendly and helpful staff.liked the hall filtered water dispensers, but one was slow to dispense, and cutoff before fully filling my bottle.Liked the dual shower, especially the hand held.

Wifi was okay, but could have been better. Don't make me have to pay for faster internet, especially if I'm a Hilton Honors member. Had to get staff to fix the shower door. Too bad you didn't have hot chocolate drinks. Wet floor was a slip and fall hazard. Luckily, I was an ice skater when I was younger.

Love the clean interior beauty & young walking neighborhood of the canopy! I didn’t want to drive home, I preferred to drink & party, so before commiting to a fun night, I quickly booked a room for that night, after midnight & arrived close to 2am. As soon as I stepped on the Canopy/Hilton mat, I was greeted by staff who escorted me into the elevator up the front desk. Check in was pleasant & super efficient. Praying there was bottled water in the room (there wasn’t,) a great surprise was the immaculate filtered water station right by the elevator. The room was super comfortable with fantastic shower both hand held & large waterfall shower head! Btw sink/vanity was outside the bath toilet area facilitating getting ready. A noon checkout was extended an hour which I truly needed & appreciated!

I don’t think the TV worked, it could’ve been that I didint know how to work it. 😂 Having stayed at the canopy previously many times the TV is the only weakness unless you have your own Netflix/streaming accounts to log into. No movie purchases available. Would’ve appreciated 24hr snack access or candy machine, if snacks were available for purchase, I didn’t see them.

The rooms were well appointed, spacious & extremely comfortable. The gym was excellent & being located on the 5th floor meant that there’s a great view. It’s very well equipped & most most mornings ( we were there for six nights ) I had it to myself. The staff were delightful, all very friendly & helpful. We loved our stay.

My only criticism is that we had a room with a connecting door & you could literally hear everything that was going on in the adjacent room, which of course is fine if you’re with the family, definitely not so good if you’re not!

I like the open storage area instead of a closet; I like the decor and set-up of the rooms and building; the bed is comfy; and the overall room is roomy. Great location, good price. I would stay there again.

Canopy did not honor the (lower) valet parking price given by Booking.com. I showed the front desk person the confirmation email, etc., but he would not honor it. I'm unsure with which party I'll have to verify the details of my reservation more carefully in the future: Booking or Canopy.

Contemporary mish-mash of architectural features (eclectic?) that convey a casual and relaxed formality that carries over to the solicitous service provided by the entire team. The room was ample and comfortable: I’d copy some of its design elements to my own living space. Elevator-to-floor access ensured by scanned guest room keycards is definitely a plus!

Shared parking facility that is typical of lodging properties in a mixed-business zone. The result: no direct access to parking garage to/from check in/out. A minor inconvenience somewhat remedied by valet service.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Donald at the front desk is amazing. The rooms are top-notch. I stay at a lot of hotels in the DC area and this one beats any in the whole city. I now have made this hotel my primary choice when staying in/near DC. The coffee machine in the room itself beats any other stay! That’s right, the coffee in the room is better than any coffee shop coffee in the district.

There is nothing to not love. It’s in an extremely safe neighborhood too! Absolutely zero crime or vice in the vicinity. Squeaky clean and safe area.

The room was nice and clean and a great size. The location was perfect. Plenty of places to eat near by and only a 10 min from the red line.

The only real issue I had was that the air con ran quite hot which made sleeping hard. I tried to turn it down but it defaulted to a preset temperate.

This hotel is truly one of my favorites that I regularly stay at! Friendly accommodating staff. Excellent neighborhood with everything I need within walking distance. I love the room design. The area with the barn doors/cement entrance allows me to travel with my dog. There is no disgusting carpet. Bed is comfortable. Just a spectacular hotel! Love Hello Betty restaurant too!

The Hello Betty was a horrible experience our team of 6 arrived at 4:30pm for happy hour & apps or dinner. The place was empty but the hostess almost forced us not to be seated b/c they were short handed and another 8 person group was coming. We convinced here to seat us and ordered drinks from the bar. It took more than 15 mins to get our drinks. Our servers were not friendly and seemed annoyed to help paying customers. We closed the check after one round of drinks and then ended up @ City Perch where the service, food & staff were exceptional. Hello Betty mgmt needs to see what city perch is doing cause it’s all great!!!
