The breakfast was just outstanding each morning. A wide array of choices that went far beyond bacon and eggs, plus a different starter each day as a delightful little surprise. Fresh ingredients, excellently prepared and presented. Tammy clearly loves this part of operating a B&B hosting and excels at it. She also gave us some helpful recommendations for dining spots, and some good travel tips for a day trip we made to Annapolis. We appreciated the little first aid kit in the bathroom. Saved us a trip for a (very minor) mishap. Just one of a number of considerate touches.

Well, it's not in downtown Easton. But we knew that when we booked, and it was only a short drive away in a peaceful green location.

Owner Tammy was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. Her presentation of breakfast was wonderful. Food was excellent. Extensive breakfast menu to choose from. Homemade granola was best I ever had. The Dutch pancake was my favorite. Another plus was that you could invite up to 4 others to join for the wonderful breakfast . There is a $25 fee but worth it as coffee, tea, juice all included. While my family stayed down the street at Best Western (not knocking the chain) eating fruitloops and toast , we enjoyed the wonderful full breakfast! If want a quite and comfortable night stay less than mile off the main road, well worth it.

Ken and Tammy were great hosts making their place seem like home. We had not been to a Bed and Breakfast in many years and I had forgotten how wonderful of an experience I had been missing. Tammy presented a simply fabulous breakfast with many options to choose from. We also enjoyed the lively breakfast conversation with our B & B neighbors. (You do set your own Breakfast time and we decided to join the other couple. It is up to you.) We welcomed our comfortable room and quiet location which is hard to find these days. A good nights rest was at the top of my list and "The Yellow Rose of Talbot" did not disappoint! In total, our short stay was truly a much needed vacation with all the trimmings. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

From the time we checked in to the time we left we immediately felt welcomed. Tammy is a great host and was helpful about restaurant accommodations and what was going on in town and in the area. Christmas decorations and lights added to the warmness. The breakfast was excellent. Tammy put in a lot of thought to accommodate our dietary requests (vegetarian and low salt/decaff.) The dishes were prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients. I loved the greek yogurt with granola and blueberry compote followed by a scrumptious vegetable/ potato hash with poached eggs accompanied by newly baked baguette with applebutter. My partner had the menu sampler which was equally delicious. The bed and breakfast is an easy 1.5 miles drive from down Easton with pleasant outside patio/ area in the summer.

Let me start this review by saying we are not B&B people, but our experience here totally changed our minds - at least for this amazing B&B! OUTSTANDING in every respect. And the breakfast WOW!!- we will always remember it! Delightful hosts; HUGE rooms with lots of nice touches, and we felt SO welcomed. Save room for breakfast - the sausage gravy is the best EVER! Each of us had some different "mini" items (smaller portions of the vast regular menu items) and we all raved about them. A lovely B&B and absolutely a "must stay" if you are in that part of the Eastern Shore or just passing through. A true delight!!

Tammy and Ken were perfect hosts; helpful but not obtrusive. We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean; the breakfasts were chosen from a lengthy menu with everything to choose from; and the neighborhood was quiet and calm. Their house is located just outside of Easton and we had a grand time exploring the town as well as the countryside and history of the area. We specifically visited to see the Harriet Tubman/Underground Railroad museums and sites and the B & B is ideally situated to strike out for those.

I did not take the breakfast from the menu, the host cooked me what I requested. Others at the table got dishes that look exceptional. Clearly the host loves to cook. The host is very friendly. I loved the size of the room, the very comfortable armchair, the view from the room, the overall peacefulness of the area. The room and the bathroom are prettily decorated. There are good pictures made by the huzband of the host. Host supplies shampoo and conditioner, and lotion. This is a very comfortable place, to which you wish to return.

I would prefer extra fan in the room for the air circulation, but this is optional

We had a fabulous stay with Tammy at the Yellow Rose of Talbot and I still haven't stopped talking about it! Tammy is the perfect host from the minute you arrive. Her breakfasts are really something else. Everything is absolutely delicious and we were spoilt for choice. The maple walnut french toast was truly one of the nicest breakfast items I've ever had. The room and location were also perfect.

We loved everything and were sad to leave.

We can't say enough good things about the Yellow Rose! From the texts earlier in the day letting us know how to check in and welcome us to the house to the wonderfully comfortable room to the delicious breakfast! My husband was running a half marathon in the morning and Tammy offered to make him breakfast super early before or make him a late breakfast after, which we did not expect at all. Our two year old was welcomed with offers of something a little different for breakfast and Ken even brought out some bears for her to play with. The backyard was a wonderful place for her to run around. Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful patio or firepit. Tammy is friendly and welcoming. Our room was huge! We booked the suite and it was comfortable and large enough for us to put our daughter to bed and relax in the bedroom. No need to worry about wifi or different steaming apps- they have it all. If we are in Easton again, we will stay here!

Breakfast was yummy and voluminous, with lots of choices and even an option to try several different dishes. The "small" room was in fact large and charming, and the bed comfortable. There are only two rooms at this B&B, both on the second floor.

I was happy with the experience. Those reserving the smaller room may wish to know that their private bath is in the hall, so one must exit the bedroom to reach it. It is not shared but the other room of guests does pass through the hall to reach the stairway, so a nude saunter to the bathroom is a bold move.
