Standard motel accommodation: nothing fancy, a bit sterile but a great price for the location, clean and comfortable. Probably not ideal for an extended stay unless most of your day is spent out and about and you just need a place to sleep. Staff was very warm and welcoming and the rooms seem to have been updated recently (new rugs, paint etc). Breakfast was decent: some hot food (scrambled eggs) and otherwise continental b-fast fare.

While it is on a main road (that is the negative), it is offset from road and there is a pool that seems well kept and was being used. Coffee maker is my least favorite type: small, one cup at a time with coffee pouch of pre-ground coffee. I travel with my own ground coffee and this is the hardest type of machine to replicate a decent cup of coffee. No half-and half in room but it was available in breakfast room.

Very clean, excellent customer service, super friendly and decent internet connection. Very close to downtown St Michael's that has many shops, museums, and activities to explore. Pool was clean and well maintained.

The HVAC unit in my room had a very loud noise. Due to a wedding nearby and conferences, some of the "neighbors" were a little rowdy through the night. Not the fault of the hotel but the walls are not soundproof. Yeah, I heard you tell her, "It's inside you now". Hotels are not as private as you think.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was good but could have been 8-11 instead of 7-10 but was good. Pool was refreshing and clean with lots of towels.

Would have liked an early check-in but was advised that the earliest was 2 p.m. and that was a maybe. The bathroom tub wasn't cleaned very well and there was only 1 trash can in the room and if you put the trash can out in the hall to be emptied, it wasn't. Also, our room has 2 entrances and the door to the outside balcony was very hard to shut, stay shut and locked. Room 223

The place was clean and quaint. Great value. Breakfast was decent, on the week night we stayed there were enough people for them to do sausage patties and french toast. Their cold options were good quality.. They do a hot breakfast on the weekends when there's more people. Outside seating at breakfast was nice with a little gazebo. In the parking lot next door is a Rise Up Coffee Drive Trough. The staff was very nice.

The toilet seat was too low.. paint and touch up spackle patches in the bathroom could have been done better.

We stayed in St Michael’s Inn last night and loved it. Clean room, not fancy but it has everything need for a short stay, refrigerator, microwave, great AC, coffee machine. They provide all the toiletries, makeup wipes, shower cap. The breakfast was pretty good hot and cold: eggs, French toast, sausages, potatos, various pastries , bagels, cereals, coffee, etc. the hotel staff is very accommodating. There is a pool but we have not used it. Our room was very quiet, we did not hear any noise from the Main Street. It is 5 min drive or about 30 min walk to the center will all the shops and restaurants. The Inn has a motel setup so you park in front of your room. Overall I feel like this hotel provides a great value for what we paid during the Labor Day weekend.

Nothing to mention

Clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable and rooms were well cared for. No frills in this hotel, but their pride of ownership and maintenance shows. An excellent budget-friendly stay near to everything you’ll want to see in St. Michaels.

The breakfast was spare but serviceable, but avoid the coffee from the machine in the breakfast room— it was undrinkably bad! Fresh coffee is available in the lobby however, and the staff keep it ready at all hours that the lobby is open.

LOVED the old school vibe of the motel and the ability to park right outside my room. First floor location was wonderful since I had my dog with me. The room was huge and had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Some might find furnishings dated but that’s what I loved about them! Had to drive to town, but a nice grocery store was right next to motel. Lobby adorable like out of a Hallmark movie. There was hot free breakfast included even though not in initial listing. I would stay again.

It was so clean very quiet and everyone was so sweet and professional I will stay there again whenever me make a trip to st Michael's my husband and I came down for our 25th wedding anniversary and he surprised me with a vow renewal there on the property it was absolutely beautiful Thank you to all the staff for making the stay feel so at home

There was nothing I didn't like

The staff was very friendly and helpful on a few recommendations. The room was fine for an overnight stay and the location was close to downtown without paying the rates of the downtown hotels. Only a mile drive and there are ample parking areas.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom could be better and a new showerhead with a bit more pressure. It looks like they just painted, but did a sloppy job with paint on the TV and on accessories in the bathroom. But it didn't hurt the stay.

Convenience, price, and motel where you park outside your room- easy access.

It needs updating and a DEEP cleaning. Carpets feel dirty under feet. Bathroom had dirt in corners. But for the price and compared to others in St Michaels it was a steal. The beds were clean and comfortable and sink, tub and toilet were spotless. It just needs an update. We have stayed there over 6 times during 2 years and it is always the same. No evidence of any renovations to rooms. But a bargain!!
