The hotel has an incredible deck overlooking the Kent Island marina with multiple seating areas (some with table-top fireplaces) which offer comfortable gathering spots for family and friends. Also a wonderful bar area with a large screen TV overhead and key sports events playing. Our upgraded room featured a fully equipped kitchen (including microwave, mini-fridge and dishwasher); as well as an eating area with table and chairs; a pull-out sofa with linens, pillow, and blanket in the closet; and a full balcony with two outdoor chairs overlooking the marina.

Breakfast hours close at 9.30am which seems early for a holiday/getaway weekend. However, coffee service is available 24/7 in the lobby /bar/gathering area -- a major plus! Bar could expand its wine selection to include French & Italian varieties.

My wife and I just wanted to do something private and simple for our 2 year wedding Anniversary! This location was ideal because we both love seafood and just the peace that comes with being surrounded by water!! The only down side is that the area is unfortunately not very diverse. Most restaurants we were the only people of color and from the odd stares and very few hellos exchanges, I think it's safe to say we were not wanted in the some of the common areas of the hotel and the restaurant next door. I thought when I put the note that we were celebrating our anniversary there would have been a little extra in the room like the Hilton that added complimentary flowers and a card in our room, but here they did nothing extra. Overall I would definitely come back because the area is really nice...I don't really care much about the stares because after being a Social Worker for 25 yrs I've seen it all..but people are going to be who they are and I can't control that.

Lack of diversity and folks just don't speak or really smile. It was really strange walking down for breakfast and saying hello and good morning and no response except from one guy who just so happened to be of color. This hotel Definitely attracts some odd energy...but hey ...the world is a odd place these days...lol!! We just stayed to ourselves for the rest of the stay and was ok.

The Hyatt Place Kent Narrows and Marina was lovely and new, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and had a great view of the harbor. I had an accessible room and was pleased that it was very near the elavator. The space was clean and free of allergens and smells. I also liked the free breakfast. Not only was the food good and plentiful; it was also well displayed and constantly kept clean by the kitchen staff. I would definitely visit again and recommend this place to other travelers.

The only thing I would have changed is my bed. It was very comfortable, but it was too low to the floor for my old knees.

Very nice hotel! The room was clean and spacious. I loved the kitchenette and the balcony. It was so peaceful and relaxing to sit and watch the sunset and the boats coming and going. The views of the water were fantastic, and there are several seafood restaurants within walking distance. I will probably go back again.

There weren't really a lot of activities at the hotel except the pool and fitness room. But I was only there to relax anyway. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, but I would have preferred real eggs.

The cost was insane. almost $300 for one night and we were there with a wedding so there were a lot of rooms booked for the wedding we were at as well as there were three other weddings happening, they could have offered a discount since these weddings is what booked their hotel for the weekend. also, there was an additional $15 charge to my account, and I have NO idea why. $291.60 for the hotel and then an unexplained $15. that is terrible business practice.

This was our first time staying at this hotel but it won't be the last! It's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The whole vibe is relaxation and enjoyment. If you're a couple, you'll love it here! It's spic and span clean. We saw people cleaning multiple times a day within the facility and even outside on the grounds. The staff were very helpful, friendly, welcoming. They made us feel at home everywhere within the hotel. It's convenient to have a bar and small pub within the hotel. We ordered food and cocktails, which were both enjoyable. The morning breakfast was superb, with full hot breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, and more. We had a king room and I'm glad I chose the one with the balcony, because it was worth it. The views were amazing, especially in the late evening during sunset. They're also quite spacious. There are so many places to sit and relax because the hotel has ample outdoor seating with pub tables, outdoor lounge chairs, couches, and more. We also used the hotel amenities, including the gym and pool, both were clean with lovely views! Our entire stay was wonderful from beginning to end!

The only thing we didn't like was the lack of a microwave in our room. It seems you have to get a kitchenette for that amenity.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable rooms. Love that it is on the water and you have a beautiful deck on the water with chairs and a dock to sit on.. Staff was exceptionally nice. Restaurants were all within walking distance with good food.

Price was high-over $500 for one night. Breakfast is an additional cost.

We loved the view and the location/surroundings. The layout of our room was great as well.

There isn’t much at all that we didn’t like about the property. However, I will say that the welcome we received when checking in was not friendly at all and as a matter of fact, the lady acted as though it was a problem to check us in. She was rude and inconsiderate and her attitude was not what we expected after our 10+ hours of driving. Definitely room for improvement there!

Hotel was comfortable, clean. No issues. Only hangup was we were with a small group that met in the lobby in the evening. We were trying to order drinks to sit and chat. The bartender took almost 5-10 minutes to make one martini. Maybe longer. No exaggeration. Opening the bottle, getting the ice, looking for this and that. So, asking for more drinks was a nightmare. Not sure why she was dragging her feet. It was painful to get 1 drink and we were apprehensive to order more. Other than that, everything was fine.

Beautiful property, updated, great location with gorgeous views from our private balcony. Parking was great, room was spacious and had all the conveniences. Breakfast area was lovely. Common areas were comfortable and smartly laid out.

The bed was way too soft. Mattress was not supportive and caused both of us to have back pain after a couple of nights.
