A very pleasant stay! The hotel is undergoing renovations, so I believe it will get even better. Our room was excellent, everything new, everything clean, everything perfect. The receptionists always had a beautiful smile on their faces and were super polite. Breakfast included coffee, milk, various breads, scrambled eggs with cheese, waffles, juices, sausages, and another hot item I don't know the name of, all well above average for American standards. YES, I recommend this hotel. POINTS TO IMPROVE: A little more lighting and security in the parking lot at the back of the hotel. The daily rate could be a little more affordable.

I loved everything about the experience. It was super quiet and relaxing. The staff was great as well. I definitely would reccommend this hotel to a friend.

Honestly, I don't have any complaints. But I do wish that the shower was a little more cleaner. Also I feel I needed a do no disturb sign when house keeping came around but it wasn't one in my room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was a bonus.

I was very disappointed that I wasn't informed that the pool and other things were being under reconstruction. I had booked this room with expectancy of there being a pool for me to use very disappointing

The location was great, so close to everything. John was amazing he greeted us as soon as we walked in he was informative, welcoming, and truly kind. Even though the hotel was going through upgrades, it was clean. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.

You heard people through the walls.

There was a good selection of foods to choose from. They need to label the foods because some people don't eat pork. I would have loved if the food was cooked while you waited instead of sitting in a hot pan.

It was very well located, only a few minutes walk from downtown restaurants and shops and close to the river walk.

The immediate surrounding area felt a little seedy but we didn’t feel at all unsafe.

It was the perfect location to stay during SU family weekend.

Not the fault of the property… but because of construction and updating we weren’t able to take advantage of all the usual amenities of the property.

The room was clean.

The reception area had an odor, there was no phone in the room, the gym was not in service and rethink bibles in the room, everyone is not Christian.

The breakfast was excellent. Hot selections included scrambled eggs, sausage, roasted potatoes, grits, waffles, and sausage gravy. Various breads as well as cereals, fruits, juices, and coffee was made available. Ample seating provided for a nicer, less crowded feeling experience.

There was one male housekeeping 5th floor staff person who was extremely rude regarding a simple request to remove some trash...very unnecessary.
