At a very fair price, Hotel Iris is a welcome change from a hundred dreary, tired US hotels that I have stayed in. Located in Brookline, about 15-20 mins away from the harbour and convention centre district, this is a leafy, pleasant residential neighbourhood which feels safe and upmarket. The room was elegant, recently decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a small kitchenette and proper sized fridge, ideal for early conference starts and late arrivals when you just want to make some of your own food. Great bed, bathroom, generous supply of high quality linen and Feragamo toiletries. A proper washing machine and dryer ($5 a pop) on each floor would be useful for a longer stay. Staff were helpful and accommodating. There is a Trader Joe's supermarket just a few minutes walk away which has an excellent range of provisions.

Breakfast, what there was of it, was good but very limited - with a single server main course and coffee. A proper buffet would be an improvement. The "business centre" was a rather small, airless and windowless extended cupboard - perhaps OK for a few minutes or to make a phone call but not really somewhere you could work for any length of time.

What a delightful stay! This hotel is nestled in a quaint and beautiful neighborhood, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm and elegance of the place. We stayed for just one night, but I truly wish we could’ve stayed longer. The room was spacious, sunny, and beautifully designed — contemporary, well-decorated, and perfectly lit. The two queen beds were incredibly comfortable, with the softest pillows and linens that felt like sleeping in a cloud. The in-room kitchenette was a fantastic bonus — so convenient and well thought out. The bathroom was stocked with luxurious Ferragamo toiletries, and the clean, plush carpets added to the cozy, upscale feel. Downstairs, free coffee was available — a lovely touch — and valet parking, while $50 per night, added to the posh and seamless experience. The absolute highlight, though, was the staff. Brian at the front desk was exceptionally polite, helpful, and genuinely warm — he made us feel right at home. All in all, this is a truly beautiful hotel, and I only wish we had more time to enjoy it. Highly recommended!

I liked everything in this wonderful hotel. The hotel facilities, the room, the food, the hotel receptionists and management were very helpful in providing valuable information about travelling ideas. The kindness, their expertise are quite remarkable. The quiet room and the comfortable of the beds and big shower, cleanness, everything was excellent. I definitely recommend it.

The front desk staff ( all rotations ) were so pleasant and accommodating. Genuinely nice, not fake nice bc they have to.. Breakfast by chef was fantastic. Server Maryna is a Joy and sweetheart. Better amenities then Most hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Robes are SO COMFY. Love Purple throughout — “Iris” Location - Wonderful. “Coolidge Corner” Highly recommend-will be staying again and again in future travels.

Brandon at the front desk was very polite. He is the guy you need at the front desk at every hotel. The rooms were very clean, organized and worth every bill. The valet was very professional and remembered my check out time too! He had my car ready to go! Amazing.

The parking situation is not trustworthy cause the space is so small my SUV barely made it in there to park.

Brendan at the front desk was terrific, very professional, efficient and caring! So as the parking/porter attendant who was very helpful and courteous!

Great service, accommodations and place to stay and rates much better than Courtyard by Marriott next door. All around a great experience. We will return again!

It’s a recently renewed hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are well designed, spacious and nicely decorated. It’s located in a walkable, tranquil neighborhood. Also, they have laundromats in each floor and a valet parking service.

Restaurant service and breakfast menu were not so great.

Friendly staff, clean, great location. Best room amenities- Bosch fridge AND freezer, sink, small electric cooking top. Comfortable beds. Green line close by for easy ride to downtown/Fenway.

A bit pricey, but all hotels in Boston $$$, especially in September-

The room was very clean, spacious had double bed in it. The linens were high-quality everything lotions, shampoos and body wash was by ferraegamo! The restaurant was great, food was delicious both for dinner and breakfast! The best value is to get the room is the breakfast included!
