The front desk workers were very nice and helpful .. the room was big .. the location is really good - huge Meijer store nearby for food and any other items you may have forgotten and plenty of restaurants and gas station nearby. The fitness room was very nice and the hotel was very clean. The town of Big Rapids is nearby and very cute.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

One of the main complaints about hotels is the water pressure. Not this place!!! The water pressure was awesome.

Grant it, I'm a smoker and had to smoke outside. Which is nor a problem because of respect. No outside seating and a couple cigarettes were put out in the parking lot. I'm guessing an employee wearing gym shorts, came around and picked them up before I could, along with other garbage that wasn't ours and called me a f'ing douche bag. Tried talking to him, but after that comment, I wasn't too happy.

The property was very nice. The pool looked good but we didn’t use it. The gym was nicer than most hotels. The room was clean and spacious.

The breakfast was not good. The French toast sticks were hard. The fruit to put on waffles was still frozen. The eggs were just okay. Not many choices. The bathroom sink was hard to use. The faucet was too low and wouldn’t stay on.

The woman working the front desk the evening of June 7, 2023 was very professional. The temperature and humidity in the lobby and halls was good. Everything seemed clean and I did not see anything that was damaged or broken.

The room temperature was set at 68 when I arrived. I think 68 is great in the winter but too chilly for summer. This is a mild complaint I would not have mentioned if not for the question of what I didn’t like. It was easily remedied. I am so glad hotel rooms have thermostats these days!

It was clean and comfortable. The location was great.. close to everything! They did give me a king room instead of the double queen I booked but made it right by bringing in a roll away. There is no hot tub which was disappointing but overall it was a nice experience.

Reserved a king room and was told at arrival that rooms were overbooked and we had to be moved to a room with 2 queens which I think were actually fulls and they wanted to charge me almost $100 more then my booking price for the room.

Clean inside the room and out. Nice feel. Very generic.

Cookie cutter hotel. Nice. Clean. No real feel or vibe. No atmosphere or character. Just a decent place to stay.

The location and the staff and breakfast.

Sound proofing in the room. we thought that since our room was on the top level and away from other rooms that it would be quieter. unfortunately that wasn’t the case because people coming and going from the room next-door were extremely loud and we could hear it right through the door.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, all areas of the hotel were kept very clean at all times, and particularly the breakfast area. Easy access to town and right next door to stores in case anything was needed.

The bathroom was weird. The shower control was on the opposite wall from the faucet and the sink faucet dipped too far down into the sink to make washing hands a bit of a messy chore. Also there was what looked like a blood stain on the comforter. It was obviously pretty old and the linen was well laundered but it was there. I didn't complain about that since there was another comforter in the closet.

The Hotel was newly remodeled. The bathroom was large with a large shower. The food was diverse and good. Staff was friendly. Lots of outlets in the room. Very clean. Nice amenities. Next door to Meijer. Located next to the freeway.

Lukewarm coffee. I like mine hot!
