Breakfast was good and provided real silverware and real plates and cups. However, I wish they didn't close breakfast at 9:00. The restaurant room was also a lounge with a gas fireplace and was comfortable. Everyone spoke English well. I've never been in a moderately priced motel like this which paid so much attention to detail. Also Fremont is a nice town with a lovely lake; it is historically significant as the birthplace and location of the largest baby food manufacturer in the world, Gerber.

Hard to find anything to criticize about Harrington Inn. They forgot nothing. They did have a TV linking system where you were supposed to be able to use an app on your smart phone and get "many channels free" However I wasted my time on this and couldn't get it to complete but not before I had been asked to provide my credit card number.

The hotel was so clean! The staff had the best hospitality. We were early for check in, and they were very accommodating. We were treated like VIP guests. It was a phenomenal stay. Love the pool. My kids even stayed that the pool was clean, and they noticed the staff cleaning the pictures and door handles. Super impressed. Definitely will return.

Friendly Staff, and a free fresh warm cookie when you walk through the door. After check-in they give you a water bottle Rooms are always in pristine shape. Also very nice, and updated showers.

Some of the decorations around the hotel are creepy, and the old man statue carrying books in one of the hallways sometimes makes me jump.

The property had a unique flare that you will not find at your Hiltons, Marriotts, and Hyatts. The cookies at the reception area were fantastic, and all the employees were friendly.

It was a single story quaint Inn only 48 Rooms in a small town that was quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent and you got to use real plates, silverware and glasses/mugs. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Each day we found live earwigs in the bathroom shower. Not something you want to wake up to. Told the front desk and they said they would check into it.

The staff was all extremely happy and friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the Inn itself just very nice and quaint. I was surprised by the quality of the breakfast and the amenities. We stayed after a day at Michigan's Adventure, it was a little out of the way but definitely worth it for the price and quality of the hotel, we were surprised how nice it was! My husband told me I won the "vacation win award" for finding and booking this place :)

My only suggestion would be to add some smaller/thinner pillows. They were very thick and caused me to not sleep very well and have a neck ache and were way too big for my children to use as well (ages 6, 4).

Nicest hotel in the area. Fremont Lake is very near. Nice lake. Restaurant in the hotel was nice, but limited menu. The food was good.

Continental breakfast is lacking.

Exterior didn't look like much, however based on its location in rural Michigan it was what I expected. However, the inside really nice and the amenities were great.
