Beautiful location and beautiful facilities. The rooms are very large and nicely appointed. I was clean and very comfortable.

Neither lamp worked beside the bedside. That was also where the USB plugs were so we were unable to charge our phones, etc by our bedside. Therefore we did not know what time it was because there was no bedside clock. The remote for the TV did not work and we had to take it down to the front desk where the desk clerk put in new batteries. That fixed that problem. They supply shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel but the conditioner was empty, which I was unaware of until after I was in the shower. The balcony was beautiful but had not been cleaned in months. There seemed to be very little attention to details and that really hurt the overall ambiance of the Inn.

Great location! Went in late Feb to early Mar and had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable and the towels were almost like magic with how fast they dried after use. The raised hot tub to overlook the lake was fantastic. Have already made another reservation for some summer kayaking. Overall a fantastic place to stay at a fairly good rate.

Switches were in odd locations throughout the room, and the rooms could use say a bench or side table near the door in the room we stayed in.

Wonderful Stay with a Beautiful View I stayed at the Weathervane Inn and absolutely loved it. The view of the water was so peaceful and relaxing. The room was clean and cozy, and I really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub—such a nice touch! A perfect place for a quiet getaway. I’d definitely stay here again.

Not as impressed with the breakfast setup. But it did not take away from the rest of the stay. You can always eat breakfast elsewhere.

The rooms are large and comfortable, and we enjoyed the view over the bay. The staff was friendly. There was a good variety of selections for the continental breakfast. The plumbing in the room worked well.

The TV set-up is VERY user-UNfriendly if you're not a phone app techie. The instructions in the room make reference to a remote to switch INPUT from HDMI1 to HDMI2 but there were TWO remotes and neither of them were the remote referenced in the instructions! Couldn't get out of the phone app HDMI mode to the HDMI that was Spectrum. Didn't miss having TV to watch but other guests might. SIMPLFY! Also, the jelly at breakfast is very cheaply packaged and I had several packets that had a seal broken and the jelly was dried. Get rid of the cheap stuff and get a decent brand like Smuckers.

It was a beautiful room with a deep spa tub and a deck overlooking the marina. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was fairly basic, but adequate.

There weren't any directions for the spa tub. I could not figure out how to close the drain (even by pushing down on it with my husband's cane). Because of the depth of the tub, my husband didn't feel like he'd be safe getting in and out of it due to his knee injury. I was planning on enjoying it, though, but obviously didn't due to not being able to close the drain.

The room was great, had a jacuzzi bath, a fireplace and aircon. Free tea and coffee was available every day. The kitchenette was well stocked with appliances and tools. The view of the lake was okay, was slightly disappointed it wasn't more picturesque and it is right next to a busy road.

Breakfast was very basic, although there was an automated pancake machine. The location also wasn't as nice as I thought it might be. The shops in the town closed early and opened late so it was always quite quiet. We chose to go to Muskegon instead for food and drinks.

The staff was very accommodating when we tried to upgrade our room. We had a room with a balcony and the lake view was great. Surprising the bed was comfortable to sleep in and the room was very clean. They did not clean the room every day due to covid but if we needing anything, all we had to was ask.

I would definitely book straight with the Inn next time because it would have been an easier process to upgrade.

All the rooms have hot tubs. The inn is pet friendly. The local community is wonderful. We ate at number of different local restaurants which were great. Just a wonderful place to come to and chill out for a few days from our busy life.

They are redoing some things in stages but overall it is just a great place to go to to get away from your day to day probems!

Quick overnight trip in the middle of winter. Found the Weathervane Inn online and it was reasonably priced. Never know what to expect anymore, but they exceeded our expectations. Clean, well kept Inn. Mr Jones at the front desk is an asset to your business. Definitely a great value and would stay here again.

Beautiful view. Loved the double shower heads.

Our room was right by the front desk. The tables for the breakfast area were right next to our door. We woke up the first morning around 6-6:30 am. to people talking loud right outside our door. The blind above the hot tub in our room was broke, so I had to put a washcloth in the hole so someone couldn't just look in our room at night. I wish there was a curtain that you could pull across the windows at night. The blinds are great during the day, but at night it would be better to have curtains for privacy. But besides all of that, we had a wonderful time. And we will be back. We'll just ask to be away from the desk.
