The price was good. Evidently, when I checked in, they no longer had the King room I had booked but gave me a room with two double beds with no extra charge. The bed I used was comfortable, with three pillows. Room was quite large and clean. TV worked well. There was a desk with a desk chair and mirror and an additional soft chair. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day, but I had expected that. Bread and bagels for toasting with cream cheese or margarine and a few choices of jam / jelly, a waffle iron for self-made waffles, two kinds of cereals. Apples. Air conditioning / heating worked well but was noisy so I left it off most of the time I was sleeping and it got a bit chilly (mid-April). Combination bath tub / shower that worked well with plenty of warm water and enough pressure. Adequate shelf space in the bathroom and three drawers and an uncovered hanging rack for clothing. There was a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board in the room.

I had a little difficulty understanding the receptionist's English at check-in (strong Indian accent, I think). I put out the "Do not Disturb" sign every day as I didn't really want anyone in the room. For the most part, they obeyed that but, for some reason, came in to clean on the 5th of my 6 days despite the sign. I wouldn't recommend walking in this neighborhood, but it was fine for driving in and out (except the heavily potholed road). It was mostly quiet except a couple times at night I heard distant shouting (not sure if that was from inside or outside the hotel).

This facility has to be Muskegon's best kept secret. Despite its dubious location, the hotel was well-kept, clean, comfortable and, undeniably, an outstanding value. Loved the fact that there was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The walk-in shower was an added plus. Staff was great! Check-in was a breeze and check-out likewise. All the positive reviews I read made my choice of where to stay a no-brainer. I only wish that I had taken photos to enhance my review.

The surrounding area was not the prettiest, but I never felt unsafe.

Clean

When I got to the class in I was with a group of bowlers. I went to pay with cash and couldn’t. Had to be a card. So ok did that. Then was told had a 150 hold on each room. What? What a hassle to just lay my head down on a pillow. Also the rooms were 117 dollars each. Could have booked them on line for 70, saving me over 160 dollars. I guess live and learn about scams.

Needed somewhere to stay while working in the Muskeon area and found this hotel, which I would describe as a good hotel if you just need a place to stay for a night or two. The value of the hotel was the main reason I stayed.

The hotel wasn't in the best of areas, but I wouldnt hold that against them as the staff was attentive and friendly and the room seemed clean.

Great value within a decent distance of local events. Very clean and comfortable while remaining affordable.

Could’ve been closer to other things, but that’s what kept it affordable! I feel it was a good balance.

Relatively cheap in comparison to other muskegon hotels... Breakfast was ok... Room was cleaner than I expected... Good enough place to spend a night or two...if that's all your looking for.

Location wasn't great...but not as bad as some reviews make it out to be.. Chair in room was really gross looking...dirty...

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The complementary breakfast was good. We were in Grand Haven for an event and this hotel was close enough and more affordable than in Grand Haven.

I thought I was getting a good price from Booking.com, but after paying, a new guest came up and got a room for $30 cheaper

I enjoyed the breakfast ... cereal, bagels, waffles, (real) orange juice, etc. Was well-stocked.

The rooms are dark and dingy. No elevator. A/C is a wall unit. Would have been better off paying a little more for the hotel down the road.

Location close to family, ample parking and early check in wasn't a problem. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and had fridge, microwave, iron, full size ironing board and coffee pot with lots of coffee in room.

No elevator to second floor so had to get my son to help me carry luggage upstairs. Breakfast ends promptly at 9 so no sleeping in if you want anything hot.

I only stayed one night but felt very comfortable and secure. Staff was cordial, room was clean and we were within minutes of our destination. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family who were traveling through the area.
