Roam Inn is kind of an unexpected treasure! I was booking it for the convenience and the fact that it has a restaurant, and it turns out to to be a great place! Relatively small number of rooms (18), very comfortable, with great little touches and appointments throughout. Having Tracey's Restaurant on the premises, and a very good one at that, is a real plus. Plenty of parking. Lighthouse just down the block. Close to main part of town. Right off a UP thoroughfare (Route 28). So glad we discovered this place - very good place to stay!

Just a bit underwhelmed by the breakfast room - an interior room with no windows, breakfast selections were adequate. Not sure of who actually owns the restaurant, perhaps Roam Inn could look into serving breakfast in Tracey's. Anyhow, not a real problem or downside, it just is an area that could be improved.

We enjoyed our stay very much! What stood out for me were all the little details that they put into making us feel welcome and at home. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. They provide large, quality bath towels. The breakfast muffins are filled will magic and ridiculously delicious. They serve quality coffee & I even found chocolate almond milk in the fridge for breakfast. The staff is welcoming and wonderful too!

The price point of the restaurant on site is high for the area.

Loved the suite with the separate living space. Loved that the rooms and hallways were decorated with large photos of local attractions, modern industrial feel. Restaurant was fantastic! Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. We liked the personal touches, the hand written note telling us to enjoy our stay was very sweet. We stayed in the winter, so the facility was in "Inn" mode with limited staff, but you'd never know! Check in and out were very easy and convenient. Nick, the bartender was great!!! Definitely would stay again.

Super cute right across the street from Lake Superior! Very walkable small town.. with lots of bars and restaurants and boat tours etc. Staff was excellent and the attached restaurant ( open for dinner) was first class and beautiful gourmet food. Would go back for sure. Bonus light breakfast and snacks:)

No dresser in our room but they did give us extra hangers.

The super friendly staff set us up with champagne in the room, which was completely clean. Great towels. Loved the easy-to-use blinds for the window. Not having to go outside to get to Tracey's was super convenient. We accidentally ruined one of the surge protectors by spilling champagne on it, and the staff were still so friendly.

Toilet bottom wasn't caulked. One piece of flooring was missing from the tub. Other than that, it was awesome.

Staff was friendly, rooms were super clean. They gave us a wonderful welcome basket with coffee, bottled water, breakfast bars, tea and oatmeal. The restaurant was expensive, not alot of options for picky eaters but the food was good. Nick the bar tender kept us entertained as well and created for us fun cocktails. Wonderful little gem and close to Pictured Rocks and the cruise boats.

The location of the hotel was great. It overlooks Lake Superior and is close to the docks that all the tourist boats use. The hotel also has a restaurant that offers gourmet dishes. The staff of the restaurant and the hotel staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Check in and check out are efficiently done.

This hotel had coffee available, no breakfast foods. There was not a microwave in the room and no cooking was permitted in guest rooms. This was not a big deal for us, we had our car, and a great breakfast place was located about 1 mile from the hotel.

Breakfast was good. Buffet in a room with windows. Fresh berries, hard boiled eggs, delicious muffins, milk, juice, coffee, tea. Cold cereal and granola but please, more adult cereals, not sugary granola or frosted flakes.

Need more hooks for hanging clothes and/or a dresser with drawers. Need grab bars in tub.

The view from our balcony was great! The room was exceptional! The restaurant's food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful!

The noise from the restaurant was alittle loud, but not terrible. I think if there was a door at the top of the stairs from the restaurant it might not have been as loud as it was. Also, with it only being one way up and down from the 2nd floor was a bit concerning, there really needs to be another way down.

Room 3 is right next to the exit door outside. It was very loud when people entered late at night. Most of the rooms are in the back of the property so there is no view of the lake. Just fyi.
