It was a great location. It is right off of the Paul Bunyan Trail, so one day we walked to Nisswa. It was a gorgeous fall day, and the colors were incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Tiffany. The breakfast was quite nice also. It would be wonderful to return in the summer, to enjoy the lake.

We had problems with our TV, it stop functioning correctly. Tiffany helped fix it, but the next day it happened again. It was frustrating because we don't have cable at home and looked forward to viewing some programs we don't usually get to see. Geez, we survived without TV :)

Beautiful setting, beautiful older style architecture and great view of grounds and lake from our second floor deck with steps down to ground. Beds were great, Wifi good. Breakfast was very good and we ate in screened in porch overlooking lake. Walked out on dock and sat on benches to relax. All kinds of activities were free; bike rentals with helmets for all ages/sizes, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, pool table, shuffle board. Could pay to rent a fishing boat with small motor. Great location, well worth a visit. We will go back again.

location, quietness as it was out of season, close to town, great walk/bike trail, great variety of eateries, food and drink, cheerful and helpful staff, cottage rental wad exceptional, fantastic views, breakfast was adequate, don't expect a full English, as you can cook that in your cottage. Thank you each and all involved in the running of Minnesota gem..

Nothing., only the shower area could do with non slip flooring.

Location is convenient to town, easy access to highway. Staff very friendly. There is a comfortable feeling both in the room I stayed in as well and the public rooms. When I sat down to eat breakfast there was an employee doing some work in the area. He stopped, so as to not be bothersome to me, and lit the fireplace for me to enjoy.Since I was by myself, we struck up a conversation and I was able to learn more about the resort. I have only stayed here during the winter months. I would love to see the lake during the summer and be able to enjoy the grounds.

Bathroom shower is painted a dark color, to me it makes the space feel unclean. I don't think it was unclean, just felt that way

Nice! Small hotel tucked in the woods on a lake. Clean room, awesome shower, comfortable bed and pillows, exceptional location, exceptional grounds with amenities (dock, beach, playground, campfire, gas grills, a lot of lawn), each room had an individual patio/deck. Very close to town for restaurants and a little shopping.

Continental breakfast could have had more items, just dry items like bagels, toast, mini muffins.

Excellent place to spend time with family and friends.All facilities available to make your family stay comfortable and relaxing.There is something for all age group to recreate your adventure aspirations

There is hardly anything to point which can be considered to be missing or needs improvement.With the category of services offered,we felt all facilities are available to spend a quality family time.

We liked the overall layout, size of bedrooms, amenities, view of the lake, clean. It was quiet, staff was helpful and nice. Booking was easy and all questions or concerns were addressed right away.

Would have liked a broom or vacuum in the rooms as we tracked a lot of sand in. The continental breakfast was just average. Maybe it was the time of the year, but something fun, exciting, and worth the visit.

Staff was super accommodating as we needed a place to charge electric bikes and lock up securely overnight. The balcony overlooking the grounds and lake was a nice addition to a fairly standard hotel room. The whole place, lovely and well cared for.

It would have been great if the patio door had a screen so we could sleep with outside air instead of noisy (and cold) AC.

The breakfast was similar to what I eat at home so more than enough variety. The room (we were upgraded from the lodge to a cottage) was wonderful. I will stay again in the future. All staff was very friendly.

No complaints about the resort...very well taken care of.

Loved the location - very close to downtown Nisswa and other restaurants, stores, etc. The view from my balcony was nice, and I heard many different birds. Very peaceful, relaxing, and lovely. I wanted a place to recharge, and it fit the bill!! The front desk staff was very knowledgeable of the area and extremely helpful. Especially helping schlep my stuff up the stairs to my room.

The bed was in need of replacement. It sagged in the middle, which made sleeping difficult and uncomfortable. The door to the patio was tricky to lock/unlock.
