I love the beautiful atmosphere inside and out! They have everything I would need and so many things I want to find at a resort. The resort offers such a variety of activities that I love all year round! While there are many attractions nearby, I do not feel a need to leave, as I am satisfied enjoying all they have right there. The staff is amazing, kind, courteous, and they work to the highest standard—which is reflected all around, both inside and out! Thank you!

The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to leave too soon!

It was a great location. It is right off of the Paul Bunyan Trail, so one day we walked to Nisswa. It was a gorgeous fall day, and the colors were incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Tiffany. The breakfast was quite nice also. It would be wonderful to return in the summer, to enjoy the lake.

We had problems with our TV, it stop functioning correctly. Tiffany helped fix it, but the next day it happened again. It was frustrating because we don't have cable at home and looked forward to viewing some programs we don't usually get to see. Geez, we survived without TV :)

Beautiful setting, beautiful older style architecture and great view of grounds and lake from our second floor deck with steps down to ground. Beds were great, Wifi good. Breakfast was very good and we ate in screened in porch overlooking lake. Walked out on dock and sat on benches to relax. All kinds of activities were free; bike rentals with helmets for all ages/sizes, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, pool table, shuffle board. Could pay to rent a fishing boat with small motor. Great location, well worth a visit. We will go back again.

Very peaceful location. My good friend and I meet here every MEA weekend. We love the location and quietness of the hotel. It is very relaxing.

We did not have any towels or soap upon arrival. We did not check in early so it seemed like our room had not been fully ready. Everything else was ready however. The hotel could definitely use new beds. The mattresses are not very comfortable.

location, quietness as it was out of season, close to town, great walk/bike trail, great variety of eateries, food and drink, cheerful and helpful staff, cottage rental wad exceptional, fantastic views, breakfast was adequate, don't expect a full English, as you can cook that in your cottage. Thank you each and all involved in the running of Minnesota gem..

Nothing., only the shower area could do with non slip flooring.

Location is convenient to town, easy access to highway. Staff very friendly. There is a comfortable feeling both in the room I stayed in as well and the public rooms. When I sat down to eat breakfast there was an employee doing some work in the area. He stopped, so as to not be bothersome to me, and lit the fireplace for me to enjoy.Since I was by myself, we struck up a conversation and I was able to learn more about the resort. I have only stayed here during the winter months. I would love to see the lake during the summer and be able to enjoy the grounds.

Bathroom shower is painted a dark color, to me it makes the space feel unclean. I don't think it was unclean, just felt that way

Nice! Small hotel tucked in the woods on a lake. Clean room, awesome shower, comfortable bed and pillows, exceptional location, exceptional grounds with amenities (dock, beach, playground, campfire, gas grills, a lot of lawn), each room had an individual patio/deck. Very close to town for restaurants and a little shopping.

Continental breakfast could have had more items, just dry items like bagels, toast, mini muffins.

Loved the location. Great beach area & playground. Loved all the rentals (bike, kayaks, boats, etc) Light Breakfast (breads, cereal, yogurt) Loved our room & the walk in shower.

Very nice room! Within walking distance of Nisswa so didn’t need to find a parking spot or drive through the crowded town.

Very surprised and a bit disappointed that there were not cooked eggs and bacon (or other meat) for breakfast. Also surprised that breakfast didn’t open until 7:00.

Excellent place to spend time with family and friends.All facilities available to make your family stay comfortable and relaxing.There is something for all age group to recreate your adventure aspirations

There is hardly anything to point which can be considered to be missing or needs improvement.With the category of services offered,we felt all facilities are available to spend a quality family time.
