Very cool hotel in a very old building that used to be a bank. They did an excellent job maintaining the charm of a very cool old building while creating a very comfortable and well maintained hotel. Excellent location, short walking distance to downtown and all shops and restaurants as well as the Mississippi river. Excellent staff, comfortable bed and room, would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly! The location is great and allowed us to walk to eat, shop and take in the sites.

The only suggestion I would make is that we did inquire about transportation at the front desk but they were not helpful. Luckily a very nice guy from next door at Scout Hall suggested CTA and they were able to accommodate our group of 10 for transportation.

The Beautiful check in lady upgraded us for our anniversary. It was the first time that's happened to us and it sure made our night and us feel special!!! Thank you Marriott we'll definitely be back. Beautiful hotel also!!!!

Your website at booking.com says rooftop garden. That is not true at all. There is no rooftop garden. The actual hotel website does not say this. Your website also says it's pet free. Also, not true. I saw a person and their dog in the lobby when I checked in.

I like the location - you can easily park in the lot and walk to restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. The staff remembered us ( I have stayed there 4 times ) and were sure to give us a room with a nice view of downtown and the Mississippi River.

As a tip, the person I traveled with was not keen on the lobby smell. The restaurant may just need better ventilation so there never are any stale kitchen odors wafting through the hotel entrance

Front desk….didn’t seem to really be one. Seemed temporary and understaffed. Had to wait a long time for person in front of me. Parking was pretty open and we were traveling and didn’t want to unload car. Turned out ok.

This has to be one of the nicest properties that we’ve stayed at. I booked two rooms last minute for my fiancé, myself, and his coworker. The location is right downtown Cape Girardeau and it’s easy to get too with lots of parking. You’re within a 2 mile walk of restaurants, shopping, and bars. The hotel itself was very clean, our room was huge and very clean as well. We loved the high ceilings. The staff was super nice. There’s a bar, restaurant, and Starbucks inside this location and while we didn’t use any of these amities the food we saw looked amazing!

Ample free parking at the hotel, quick check in experience. I love the use of the historic building: the public spaces are beautifully decorated. The room itself was very clean, nicely appointed.

Courtyard brand issue: the onsite breakfast is limited and pricey.

Showers door being all clear, some personal privacy ( frosted glass even just partially) sometimes and for extended family members.

Rooms are big, beds comfortable, receptionist was very helpful. Very nice hotel. In the middle of the town within walking distance to shops, restaurants.

Breakfast was not included however you could pay and eat at the Bistro on site.
