Breakfast as always was wonderful. I had a problem with my room and the gentleman that helped me got me into a new room immediately and refunded me. My money for the problem that I had which was pretty bad but all in all, it was handled graciously and correctly for the seriousness of the problem. It will not keep me from.

I had a problem in my first room.I did call the next day and speak with the daytime.Clark to tell her what had happened and asked her if weston had followed through with the problem she said that it will be taken care of so nobody else will have the problem

I loved that this facility gives out free cookies and milk at 8pm for guests. The free breakfast was amazing, included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, granola bars, toast, coffee, juice, tea, hot chocolate, and milk with all the condiments you need. We liked that you can play billards, ping pong and Foosball on the second floor and the hallways are lined with vending and claw machines. The breakfast area has a lighted gazebo and 2 large fountains and is very esthetically pleasing for your eyes.

I didn't like that we kept trying to adjust our room temperature but it never changed so that was a bit annoying. I also felt like the front desk clerk was rude when I forgot my key in my room and couldn't get back into the building because I didn't know the front doors locked at a certain time, when I rang the bell and told her I couldn't get back in she told me to use my key, like I hadn't already thought of that. I also didn't like that the pool was only 4 ft 1.2 inches deep, we are just used to staying places with a deeper pool, but we did have it all to ourselves so that was a bonus. The hotel is older and needs some updating to the rooms particularly the bathroom area and the carpeting throughout but other than that we liked it and will likely stay there again.

Though an older property everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast is above and beyond a lot of more expensive hotels that I've stayed at The staff were friendly and efficient.

This was my second stay at this property and the bed was uncomfortable during my first stay. This particular stay the bed was much more comfortable and I had no issues. The only other thing that is a bit disappointing is that there is no elevator to reach the second floor. I know that going in, but it was a minor inconvenience.

Breakfast was great. Staff at check-in and check-out were helpful and pleasant. Liked that two or more restaurants were in easy walking distance and gas station was directly across the street.

While I appreciated the theory of having a window for the room the fact that it opened to the courtyard and everyone walking by could look right into your room. So we kept the drapes pulled shut the whole time. I suppose it's no different than a first floor room with a window that faces the outdoors, but it felt less private.

My son absolutely loves this place.. I have never been to a family fun oriented hotel all the way around. The pool, ping pong, foosball, pool table, and the absolute best… the claw machine and arcade games were a better amenity than any other I have had the pleasure to experience.. this was the first time we have been able to afford such a treat for our family for no reason at all in about 7 years.. we actually live in Cape Giradeau, so this was just a for fun stay.. incredible!

Value for the cleanliness and the area is good.

The breakfast was poorly stocked and none of the kids channels would work i.e Disney or Nickelodeon. This makes entertaining small kids in a small room difficult. There was a random pillow with no pillowcase in the drawer in our room, but no extra pillowcases to put on it.. I took it to the front desk and asked if it was meant to be there and they said yes, when I told them it was kind of odd to have a naked pillow and no pillow case to put on it they just kind of looked at me like I was crazy..

We always stay at the Auburn Place when we travel through Cape Girardeau to Florida. They are very dog friendly, the staff is always sweet and the location is excellent. There are numerous restaurants close by and within walking distance. Breakfast is good and they always have warm choices as well as grab n go. We really appreciate the tile floors in the rooms as they are much more sanitary than carpet.

My husband would LOVE if y’all would have bacon for breakfast! Other than that, the hotel is amazing.

This is a clean place to stay at such a reasonable price. Very clean, safe area and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The pool was great. The breakfast is as always phenomenal!! This hotel is known for their breakfast spread and we have tournaments in Cape Girardo once a year and always stay at Auburn Place. I wouldn’t want to stay at any other hotel in the area and we have been traveling to the area for years.

The staff were all very nice, the location was perfect for our needs and the overall facility is very good. The breakfast was very good.

The room was nice, however, the toilet was not secured to the floor and the adjustable shower head could not be adjusted. These are minor, otherwise the room was perfect. I feel bad because I forgot to mention the toilet to the staff when I checked out.

I loved the property until the morning of checkout when I was cleaning up our room like I always do stripping the beds and gathering up all our trash and towels! I went to empty the ice bucket and to my surprise when I took it apart it was filthy, looked like maggots was inside of it..I did housekeeping for 12 years and this was unacceptable.
