Awesome hotel except for one issue discussed below. Impressive lobby/breakfast area. Large, quiet, clean and comfy room. Excellent design - very efficient. Tasty protein breakfast. Plenty of convenient parking. Not within walking distance of anything. One restaurant across the street - need to drive there.

Over the bed was a fire/smoke fixture which flashed a bright white light periodically - almost as if someone was taking flash pictures - very disturbing. No freezer section in the refrigerator. The stainless steel in the elevator needs to be cleaned and polished.

The location was easy to find. The breakfast was good. I found the food, the room and location better than I expected. Everything was clean and decent! Nothing fancy, but nice nevertheless. After traveling all day we had to make a stop, so I am glad we chose this motel.

We should have gotten more face towels. We had 2 grandkids with us. Carpet isn’t standard flooring anymore, so LVP flooring would have been better. Also better window treatments. They were cheap looking, and the coverage wasn’t too good for privacy.

I did not like that I could not bring guests to swim. I have family in the Cape Girardeau area which is why I traveled there and booked Laquita because it had a pool we all could gather at. I was told they would have to be a guest to swim. That was the whole reason I rented at Laquita. We had to go somewhere else to swim and pay money. I did not even get to use the pool at Laquita.

Room was super spacious and very clean! Breakfast was available at no extra charge.

Breakfast sausage had a rubbery texture and I felt could have been cooked a little longer. Label your muffins please. There are a lot of food allergies and allowing the muffins to touch one another could even send an allergy person into a frenzy. Simple fix: label and don’t put so many out at once so they don’t touch.

The room and location was great - the breakfast was good/staff was excellent - The only mishap was the Pool was out of commission when we got there BUT it got fixed and it was up and running by Friday which as GREAT - the kids had a ball so it alllllll worked out and everyone enjoyed themselves - We all said that is our place to stay when we come home

The 3 different front desk people all were so friendly!! When we checked in the young gentleman made sure that we saw that he had mopped so we wouldn't fall. When we brought dinner back the next person talked to us about were we went. Just made us feel so welcome. Bathroom very clean and breakfast was good. The window shades were so cool!!

Mold on air conditioner vents! Hair dryer in a weird spot. For a heated pool, it was a little chilly.

The young man at the front desk was very kind and helpful. He seems to enjoy what he does and care of the guests. The pool was relaxing and clean. The room had great lighting in the bathroom which was nice for 3 females having to get ready for a big event.

There was nothing to dislike. Of course, I would have always loved a Hot tub but I knew that when I booked the room.

We booked there for the kids to be able to play in the pool, it was open only a day or 2. They got to swim once. The pool was down for maintenance…? People outside all hours of the night in the parking lot just sitting in their vehicles. Kinda weird scary.

It was new and clean - what's not to like! Except for ONE BIG THING. Explained in the next box.

THE DOOR TO THE ROOM WAS HORRIBLE. I HAVE A BAD BACK AND I BARELY HAD THE STRENGTH TO OPEN THE DOOR! IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT . . . I WAS TOLD BUT A FIRE REQUIREMENT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IN A WHEELCHAIR WOULD DO? I AM 70 YRS OLD AND IT WAS VERY HARD. VERY SORE SHOULDERS THE NEXT DAY!

The only thing was the breakfast I woulda like to have something different other than just sausage and eggs maybe bacon or sausage links but other than that it was great! Plus the $50 a night was new to me and I been here before and never had to hold $150 for my stay
