The check in was tiresome as the receptionist was dealing with a problem on the phone and I had to wait for her to take a couple of calls. Then she didn’t activate the room keys and I had to go back and she was attending to new people checking in and had to wait again. Very frustrating when you have been in the road for more than 7 hours. The breakfast was also lacking and boring and some one thought I could make me own waffles or get my own syrup. I know she was being helpful but I do not like people hovering over me and I am quite capable of making my own waffles. A decent breakfast which have been nice as I was going to be on the road for another 8 hours.

Staff was very friendly. Everything in the room was high class the bathroom, the TV the bed the low noise heater the service for fixing bed. The nice desk for working I was very pleased.

The only small thing that was little bothering was the toilet paper roll kept falling off the holder since the holder removal was facing backward, and I kept hitting it with my elbow to make the roll fall off. But if it was facing the other way, then the roll would not fall off.

I liked the location and the price.

When I checked in, the front desk clerk did not inform me of the breakfast or the hotel amenities. Luckily I overheard her advise the guest ahead of me. She was not very friendly. I didn't like the room this time around. The room was smaller than when I stayed previously. The toilet flushed slow, so I was not sure if it was due to low water pressure or not. When taking a shower, the water drained slowly. It seemed that you were running a bath. This contributed to the tub being dirty.

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant on staying at this facility, but took a chance since it was so close to where I needed to be the following morning. I was expecting the worst. To my surprise, the room was clean and well stocked with towels, coffee, etc. The bed was comfy, the room was sizable and the staff was more than accommodating (I locked myself out of my room). I had no time for breakfast in the morning, but the small cafeteria was full of people (I did have their complementary popcorn when I arrived (nice touch). You can't always believe the reviews you read. Glad I took a chance.

I really can't think of anything that I didn't like. I would definitely stay again.

Martha was exceptionally kind, professional and helpful at breakfast! She even helped a guest make their breakfast and was also very quick to make sure we were getting help at check out! She was just the sweetest! Unfortunately we can’t remember the name of the sweet lady who checked us out or the name of the nice woman who confirmed our reservation but they were also beyond kind, friendly and professional! We will definitely be booking again based on that alone.

We have been traveling for the past week and this has been by far our best experience with a hotel. We tend to go with cheaper hotels because it's just a place to sleep, and go in with low expectations since you usually do get what you pay for. However, from Joanie on the night shift to Martha the next morning, they made the experience that much better. They were both friendly and attentive. Very personable. So many times we have checked into a hotel with not so much as a good evening, which is ok too, but Joanie made the extra effort to make us feel welcome. During breakfast, Martha made it a point to come around and ask if we were able to find everything or if there was anything she could do for us. They both actually engaged us in conversation which was wonderful! As for the hotel and room itself, everything was very clean, no weird lingering smells. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay !

The shower in our room drained slow, I let Martha know and she assured me that it would be worked on that day. She was so sweet.

There was very bad weather during my visit and there was no instructions available of where to go during a tornado warning which we did have the little girl at the desk was so busy. I stood there for a while, trying to ask my question and she never got freed up enough to answer. I looked in the room for instructions and all I could find was on fire.

Absolutely fantastic staff, front desk lady actually offered to make me a waffle and set up milk machine for my coffee in the afternoon. Plus someone is always cleaning. Very clean and close to restaurants.

A little tough to enter the parking lot, but that's probably because we hadn't been there before.

We loved the staff, they knew that we were all there for volleyball tournaments and that we had to be at the sportsplex at 7 and breakfast started at 7 so they set it up early so we could start the day with full bellies and much needed coffee!

Small bathrooms - seriously couldn’t think of anything else! It was a very nice stay!!

I liked everything at this location. The check in staff was extremely polite and proficient. The amenities of popcorn and lemonade nightly and the well stocked continental breakfast exceeded my expectations. The room was spic and span clean, and the bed was comfy. I will stay here anytime I am in the Cape area and need lodging. I will also seek out other Pear Tree/ Drury businesses in other places I stay. This felt like a high end stay for a budget friendly price.

Nothing needed improvement.
