Location, features, comfort, breakfast, happy hour. Receptionists upon our arrival (Kevin) was extremely helpful, welcoming, courteous, exceptional person. Same I can say for the receptionist on the late afternoon/early evening on 5/27/2024 (unfortunately did not ask for her name). She was jovial and made a recommendation to go to a know pizzeria close to the hotel. No regrets in eating at the place she recommended as the food was really good.

The property was exceptional. What was not up to expectations was the front desk staff on 5/31/2024 morning shift. Upon check out, Lamar was not customer satisfaction oriented, he was rude/blunt, a total deception for boot making an effort to help with our concern. He brushed off responsibility as a representative of the hotel. Finally, when I asked for a copy of the receipt upon check out he was argumentative and was reluctant to print a copy for my records.

What made our stay at the Embassy Suites Newark Airport was the woman at the front desk, Dorothea! She treated not only me, but every guest as if we were family! And when she wasn’t waiting on guests, she was picking up, filling gift bags for guests or doing something productive. It is these kinds of employees, businesses struggle to find these days. She was intelligent, kind, efficient and super hardworking! This was the bright spot of our stay!

The saff were all very kind, welcoming and accommodating. The facilities and rooms are well kept. This is the best stay near EWR and worth the extra cost. Within walking distance to several eateries and a mall. Late checkout possible! Decent breakfast options. Clean and comfortable!

No extra bedding in the room for the sofa bed and the sheets provided didn't fit. Still I highly recommend this hotel for a close stay to EWR!

Nice free shuttle service from and to the airport, very nice suite with separate sitting room with work space, large and well organized bathroom, very confortable sleeping room. Nice free happy hour offered by the hotel. Not very good the breakfast and not good the dinner at the hotel restaurant (avoid it). The ratio between quality and price could be improved. In any case a very good solution when in transit through Newark airport

Everything is always awesome, this is the 3rd event that Ive had there and never fails.

I was charged for things that they should ask about before hand. I have a service pet but he did not stay and I was charged for that but it was fixed. i was also charged for parking which was resolved as well but those are the things that should be asked as we are checking in. Other than that, Everything is always great.

I always choose embassy suites for 1. Its consistency, 2. The made-to-order breakfasts, 3. Shuttles, and 4. Space

Its an airport hotel - bottom line, you cant change the location for its convenience. View was nothing I even remember, it was so unremarkable. The port side is downright ugly with all the cranes and lifts. Sorry, I can extend a 1 on view...

Breakfast was excellent! The cocktails at the end of the day is an added bonus Room was clean and comfortable ( My family think you exceeded in this regard). Location is great - not only for arrival/departing Newark, Airport/ but, should we decide to visit New York again we'll prefer to stay at your hotel!

Our stay was too short! We did not like that we didn't know that one can stay in New Jersey and visit New York. NOW WE KNOW!!!

Nothing special

1. The front desk was not polite. 2. No one from the reception is unswerving the phone when needed. 3. Hotel charged me for parking even when it did not mentioned when we ordered the room. One more small issue. I updated the hotel I will celebrate my birthday but nothing hapend. The should learn from Haron hotel Washington DC and Holiday Inn Philadelfia.

The hotel is very conveniently located to EWR and would make for a great spot if you need a place to stay. Right across the street from Jersey Garden Mills outlet mall. About a 20-minute Uber/Lyft ride from MetLife Stadium. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. We had an issue with our AC unit going out and they kindly discounted one of our evenings there (we stayed three nights). Beds are comfortable.

The sofa was very worn, with holes worn into the fabric of one of the arms. We noticed ants in the entryway, but they were gone by the next day. I think there was a miscommunication with the housekeeping team. If our Do Not Disturb sign was out, they would knock on the door. When the sign was NOT out, they skipped our room for cleaning. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all and we ended up using the mattress on the floor, as that was more comfortable.

The hotel was very clean and cozy. The bed was my favorite part, nice and comfortable. Loved the pool and hot tub. Lastly the omelette station was my favorite thing about the free breakfast!! Very yummy!

Having to pay for the “good WiFi” yes there was complementary WiFi but it didn’t connect well with some of my devices.
