The shuttle driver was friendly and helpful. He lifted my suitcase for me, which was very heavy. The ride from the airport was fast, and the driver was kind. The woman at check-in at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, since I had told her it had been over 22 years since I had last traveled by plane. The room was clean for the most part, but seemed to be a little dusty. I had a glass if white wine, a Club Sandwich and French Fries for dinner in the downstairs restaurant. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. The waitress was excellent.

The room as overall very clean, however, it was a bit dusty. It was outdated. It could use some new furniture. There was only enough coffee for one cup. I would have liked to have more without having to get dressed and going down to the lobby for a second cup of coffee.

There was free coffee and tea service. Christmas/holiday decoration was beautiful at the front desk and lounge. Staff at the desk were very kind. Even though my first name and the last name was written opposite in order, the front desk lady quickly managed and processed it and we had no problem checking in because Japanese people write name last name first then first name. Requested early check in and paid $40 which I thought was reasonable.

We were group of three, the number of towels in the room were not enough so I asked the house keeper to bring extra, the front desk manager handed it to us so I paid him tip.

Selected this hotel because of the proximity to the airport. We flew in late, walked to the hotel, experienced a quick check in, and were fast asleep in no time. All staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel restaurant breakfast was spectacular and way beyond our expectations. Check out was quick and we took the shuttle back to the airport.

Hotel and restaurant are pricey but high prices are expected in the NY/NJ area. Stay here to avoid extra ridehare expenses on quick stays.

The hotel is right on airport property but not safe for walkers, so there is a shuttle for pickup and drop-off. In addition to the airport, the shuttle drops off at the train station. We were able to easily fly in, take the shuttle to the hotel, take the shuttle back to the airport for dinner and take the shuttle to the train station in the morning. It was also fun to be able to see the control tower and the terminal from the airport.

Seemless transition from airport to hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at check in and in the restaurant. Great system for leaving and retrieving our car in the Marriott lot. Clean and comfortable room.

The hotel seems in need of redecorating. The restaurant, in particular, is charmless and the menu tired. (The staff, on the other hand, were great). Hard to believe that at this late date it wasn’t possible to get a cappuccino with breakfast.

The hotel is very close to the airport and very well maintained

This is the second time I stayed at the Marriott on this trip. The first time was excellent. The second time the staff was inattentive. It was close to midnight, I was left there waiting at the reception desk to be checked in while two of the staff were trying to figure out a computer problem. I was not greeted or even acknowledged, just left to wait.

It's shown as an airport hotel close to the terminal but you are forced to take a shuttle If I had known this I would never have booked as there are better and cheaper hotels close by which also need a shuttle Very very misleading and I won't stay again

Bed was very comfortable and amenities fine. Restaurant food and service better than expected.

You can’t walk to the hotel from anywhere in the airport despite that it is located right in the middle of the airport. Google says you can walk but you have to dodge traffic as there is no crossing. Like all US hotels, they unfortunately have the same terrible shower faucet system.

Staff, free shuttle to EWR, room layout, view of EWR, bed. Power outlets on bed table were most useful.

CONCIERGE LOUNGE LOCATION & REDUCED HOURS: ● Located on 1st floor, instead of on Concierge floor (10th floor). Inconvenient to use. ● Breakfast hours end at 9:00 am. Most concierge clubs I've visited have breakfast until 10:00 am. Hors d'oeuvre Hours end at 7:30 pm. I prefer they extend to 8:00 pm. BATHROOM LAYOUT: ● Bathroom Vanity top is small. Needs larger countertop. LIGHTING IN BEDROOM: LIGHTING: ● NEED more sources than just 2 bedside lamps

Best place to stay overnight with kids after a long trip with late arrival at night. Excellent shuttle service, straight out from each terminal every 15 min even late at night and 5 min ride away from the hotel. Smooth and fast check in check out. Breakfast until noon was a big plus. Family friendly staff is an extra nice touch. Perfect experience overall. For other families references: Took us about 1h30 from landing to be in bed #traveling alone with 3 kids -long distance -international flight.
