Wow! What a surprise- perfect location to walk to restaurants and get to broadway shows. The Casablanca theme was so cool and the vibes were calming especially in the lounge/ with comfy chairs and fireplace. We so enjoyed meeting other guests there in the evening The breakfast was like continental on steroids😉. Perfect for a kickstart for each day.. and the serving staff made us feel like family. The managers should be very proud of them. The front desk team were so helpful and friendly. Thanks to them for making us feel at home throughout our stay. Lastly the housekeepers were very nice folks and did an amazing job keeping our room so clean. Will return here again!

All 👍 although the room radiator heat was difficult to maintain the temperature. Got very warm and had to keep opening the window at night but we got used to it.

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! It gives you the comfort and feel of old-world New York, complete with excellent staff and customer service, clean rooms, a cafe stocked with 24-hour coffee, snacks and beverages, and very comfortable lounge areas to relax. It’s located directly in Times Square and just a two-minute walk from a very clean and major subway hub that can take you all the way to Battery Park for the Statue of Liberty, or uptown to FAO Schwartz and the Empire State Building (both of which are also within a 15 min walking distance) or the Museum of Natural History. We traveled with our young children and felt very safe, and the staff was so kind, and we could not have had a better and more memorable experience!

The proximity to Times Square can’t be beat. You literally walk out the door, take two steps straight and then two steps to the right and you are there. I agree with every other review on the fact that this is the calm, quiet home base that you look forward toward to returning to after a busy day in the city. There were 3 adults (2 parents and a college age child) in our room and it was comfortable. The staff is welcoming, kind and friendly. Always a “hello” and “welcome back” as you walk through the doors. The breakfast is very good (bagels, pastries, toast, yogurt, oatmeal etc…)and the attendants are also extremely, kind, welcoming and helpful. There are complimentary snacks, fruit, pastries, bottled water, coffee, espresso, latte, tea 24/7 in the lounge which is also very comfortable and a nice gathering place outside of your room. The rooms are surprisingly quiet. We never heard any street noise. There is a window a/c I our room and I think that helps to drown out the noise. We all slept soundly which surprised me also! We will definitely stay here again! 10/10!

Everything was wonderful

From checking in to leaving, the team on duty couldn’t have done any more for us. Breakfast was continental style, there was a great choice of fruits, pastries and yogurts which was perfect for the start of the day. Water, tea and coffee was available 24/7 and some basic snacks which added to the value of the hotel, as New York is not cheap. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was really central and ideally located. The restaurant next door Tony’s is a must, but make sure you book a table well in advance. The hotel did that for us.The concierge organised a taxi to the airport for us which was much cheaper than UBA and in general gave us good advice. If I went back to New York the Casablanca would be where I would stay again. You can’t go wrong with the location and what the hotel has to offer.

I have no complaints

This was the perfect location and stay for us as we attended a Broadway show and did a little overnight stay. The staff took care of everything for us- they were engaging, helpful and so friendly! They had a great suggestion for everything. They took care of dinner reservations for us and timed it perfectly for the 7pm show! the rooms were spacious very clean. The 24hour snack bar was so convenient! Parking was a no hassle- as the garage was next door. We will never stay anywhere else in the future!!

From the moment we entered, our stay at Casablanca was exceptional. We were greeted by the desk staff and told our room had been upgraded . Our king room on the 6th floor was spacious and the bathroom huge. Rick’s Cafe was stocked with coffee, cold drinks and snacks 24/7. The Continental breakfast was exceptional; freshly cooked hard boiled eggs, fresh bagels, pastries, fruit and assorted pastries, along with fresh coffee, tea and an espresso machine. The staff was always smiling and eager to accommodate. I asked for ice to make ice coffee and was given a glass full each morning. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect such a relaxing couple of days being helped by the best staff ever

Casablanca hotel was like a home away from home. The staff was extra accommodating, sweet and caring, and provided us with a small fridge and a kettle immediately after asking for it on the arrival day., as an example. The cafeteria on the 2nd floor was available 24/7 for guests to enjoy and, as they only offer breakfast and snacks during the day, we could bring our own food and use it whenever we wanted. The place is in the best possible location, just beside Times Square, but the rooms were quiet, and we never heard any noise from outside or any adjacent room. We definitely recommend it and will be staying there if we ever come back to New York.

This was our first visit to New York and we choose Casablanca for its location and it’s reviews We were not disappointed. Just two minutes walk into Times Square and Broadway The breakfast was delicious and far exceeded our expectations Ricks cafe on 2nd floor is relaxed and lovely spot to chill out anytime during the day. We enjoyed the treats coffee/tea included in our stay The staff are so friendly. They booked an open topped bus tour on our first day. Unfortunately the bus didn’t stop at the stop at Bryant Park. That was disappointing. However when we got back that evening to our room the reception had left a complimentary bottle of wine as a gesture of goodwill

Nothing comes to mind

This hotel is an absolute haven in the midst of the madness (particularly in the middle of summer)! It has a small, boutique feel to it, rather than a large, anonymous hotel, which we loved. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, from the door, reception to breakfast lounge. Our room was clean and comfortable, although a bit of a squeeze for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 grown teenagers), but we managed. Breakfast was a welcome bonus that we didn’t expect (toasted bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and fruit) and there is complimentary tea, coffee, snacks and water all day and night. The hotel is situated on the corner of Times Square which is very well situated for getting to all of the main attractions. It’s incredibly lively, but as soon as you step back through the door of the hotel, it feels a million miles away. We can’t recommend it enough.
