unfriendly check in.We came 2 hours before a possible check in time ,after a lengthy flight from Molokai,via Honolulu.To check in 1,5 hours earlier I was asked to pay additional 200 USD,alternatvely to upgrade to suit for 800 USD extra.I explained that we wanted to have a quick shower and to go to visit my Father grave in Elmswood.Absolutely no understanding. Thanks to Daniel we got our room earlier without having to pay atrocious 800 dollars. Pity,most dissapointing. Dr Andrew Tabaczynski.Poland.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. If it was included we were unaware and decided to eat elsewhere. The staff was helpful. The rooms were spotless and the cleaning lady was helpful and kind. And the car service you had at the hotel saved us! it wasn't much more than UBER and the driver Alejandro was great, and the vehicle was plush! If it wasn't for the car service ready for a last-minute trip we would have not made our flight home. Also, the fact you held on to our bags all day made us not worry as we explored NY waiting on our flight. While the price of your hotel was a little steep for us vacationers, it was a high-end experience that made the price seem more palpable. Overall staff was nice and informative, I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but it was above my expectations. We did not like Times Square but the hotel made getting back from a hot day of walking extremely relaxing.

Wish I knew there was music there on the weekends! No one informed us. Also, I was confused about the restaurant and the daily credit of $20 I am not sure we even used it.

Didn't like the €125 dollar charge to wear a hotel dressing gown. Fortunately spotted the info label on the gown before it was used.

If central is the right word for Manhatton then this hotel was in a great location. Great entrance and great roof too bar. Rooms were very comfy . Shower was massive and everything very clean and to hand

The staff are the stars of this hotel. From the gentleman who greeted us at the front, receptionists, hostesses at Session's and Rooftop, the soft spoken cleaning lady. We enjoyed breakfasts and cocktails at Session's. We lounged a bit at the rooftop bar but we were famished and they only offered light nosh, still the staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean, the rain shower was great. Coffee was my favorite brand, Lavazza. Bottled water is included as well as wifi. The hotel is so centrally located. We walked to Carmine's, to Carnegie Deli, to the Frick, and to an omekase restaurant. It's close to Broadway too. Just perfect for a weekender like what we did. I recommend this hotel highly. It's just as fantastic as the one in San Diego.

This hotel was PERFECT, it was nothing but amazing. Although the rooms are a little smaller than i would have liked, they have made great use of the space, a good size wardrobe, amazing shower and bathroom and even a little sofa and chair to eat at. The bed was super comfy. It wasn’t loud, and we could see timesqaure from our window. Everything was just amazing.

There wasn’t anything i didn’t really like, the only thing i can think of is that sometimes the elevators took a while to get to us, but was never anything crazy.

I have to say our stay at the hard rock was just perfect!! travelling from the UK first time visiting New York, after reading a few negative comments on the fire alarm going off at silly times in the morning and not so helpful staff we were worried about our choice of hotel! and I have to say that it was the best choice we made!! the hotel was excellent!! The location was perfect, staff were friendly and polite, rooms were clean and big enough for 2, the bar in the main lobby was beautiful and the the bar upstairs was also great with a good atmosphere! I was also worried about the gym facilities as I couldn’t seem to find any reviews or pictures of this! so if you are a gym goer like me you will not be disappointed!! it’s fully equipped, clean and new and it’s 24 hrs! I will have to give this hotel 10/10 and would stay again when next in New York !! :)

Was a little surprised that there wasn’t the usual toiletries in the shower a part from 1 conditioner.

Room was very spacious for NYC. Bed clothes and towels very nice materials. Shower was excellent. Free Water / Coffee in the room was a very nice touch.

Unfortunately we planned a trip up to the terrace bar on the last night, we asked at the desk and where told it was only available from 5-6 PM with the children. So we where a bit disappointed when we arrived at 5pm to find out it was actually only available from 4-5. It was a pity, so we had a drink in the bar on Level 2. But the staff where a bit distracted, though we were told to sit in one area only as we had kids with us other guests did not appear to have this restriction. The bar staff where mostly talking with two guests at the counter, leaving one person to make the drinks. Overall this was not a great experience.

The best location you could choose, perfect walking distance from most major attractions. Times Square is only a corner, amazing. The room is super modern and comfy, the food choices and the menu is amazing such as the skybar.

The staff is AWFUL, the skybar manager is douche, the way he talks to people is not a 5 star hotel level. Also during check in the receptionist could not find our booking for half an hour, and after he found it wanted to give a different price, higher, than what we booked for, and after he sorted it out he apologized and gave our rooms to us.
