Fantastic view from high up the hill. Tons of space, with very adequate kitchen. Comfy (though dated) reclining chairs that we spent a lot of time in. Air conditioning worked well. Large refrigerator. Plenty of parking. Peaceful and beautiful. Wifi worked well and we were able to plug our Google TV device into the TV to watch our own programming (even though there seemed to be things to watch already).

King bed was comfy but I could feel every move my partner made while sleeping; that, combined with the headboard hitting wall, interrupted our sleep. Second bathroom toilet ran long after flushing. Condos were quite a drive up the hill from town, but (top tip) Albertson's supermarket delivered groceries via Doordash when we were too tired to drive back down and up again.

The condo had a beautiful view. Spotless and enjoyed the natural sunlight in the condo. Thank you for letting us stay. We were supposed to close on our condo that day and the Title company had a mishap so we needed to stay one night and picked this condo.

Upon checking in, a younger woman was working the front desk and I let her know that I am deaf and have a service dog with me and she was incredibly kind and said that it was okay. When checking out, there was rude hag that gave my wife hell about my service dog. The Hag said "are you the one with the dog?" imprudently towards my wife. My wife replied "yes, would you like to see our badge or papers?" The Hag shut her mouth then. I understand there are a vast amount of people that abuse the privilege of having a service dog, however I am not one.

Views were unbelievable. Room was impeccable. Made me feel very comfortable.

When I asked if I could rent the room for another night, both staff members looked at each other and said no. Didn't even bother to check the computer. They didn't even offer to help if something changes. I didn't feel welcome. Customer service is a lost art, they simply had to OFFER to let me know if a room became available and I would've heaped praises for their CS. Don't know if I'll return.

High Sierra offers fruit, doughnuts, coffee, tea and juice only early on Saturdays, the location is the best as it is up the hill with an amazing view, it is basic, no luxury but you will definitely get much more value for what you pay, there are several great restaurants for dinning within a 20 min drive range. You'll get a good discount at the Wild West Ski Shop If you rent ski gear as a High Sierra Guest. The best place to stay in Ruidoso by far and will definitely come back as we do every year with my family and friends.

Its sad to learn that Ski Apache has decided to close from Mon thru Wed as they use to open every day, and the mountain will last long to recover from the past fire incident,

Gorgeous scenery, fabulous hot tub and pool, retro condo with all the modern amenities, clean and huge, with wonderful staff.

We do wish the pool and hot tub hours were extended slightly. Also, be advised that if you are on a ground-level condominium, you will likely hear every step taken by those in the condominium above you.

I loved the location. It was very quiet, great views. FANTASTIC desk staff, extremely helpful and accommodating.

The only thing I would upgrade is the bedroom mattress. It was a bit saggy, but reasonably comfortable!

The view was great! & so beautiful.

The parking lot is small so it's hard to park if you have a big truck. Also the walls/ floor are thin, so unfortunately you can hear your neighbors.

We made our own breakfast, but there were more than adequate utensils to fix our breakfast. Patio was great for breakfast viewing.

Sound proofing would help with upstairs residents who don’t appreciate the noise affecting residents on the lower floor. Our next visit, with family, will be better.

The condominium was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfy.

my parents are elderly and only one car could park by the condominium so they ended up walking when there was more than enough space to park. No exceptions where given. also the only way into the pool was through the main lobby and getting past guest checking in was not ideal. our bathroom toilet would not flush unless you held the the handle down for about 60 seconds. the kitchen table chairs were not sturdy and overall for the price I would expect the condominium to be a little up dated. also one of the stove top burner didn’t work so it slowed the process to cook for my boys. overall we enjoyed our stay and would re book for our next trip.

Great, clean room with amazing view. Second time there and both times the staff was exceptional and extremely helpful. Feels like home. Scenic (sometimes a little scary) drive up mountain to get to property but the view is amazing and worth it!
