One staff member you have there his name is Shadow,what an amazing person and so professional and kind.He told us places and things to do.Gave us advise on good places to eat and was so very nice in every way.He is a keeper for later on that weekend, I found him doing the same gor another customer while I sat and heard him really help them out never being to your town before,just was so helpful to all.

Now for your kitchen area.No sausage was avaliable several days I went to eat.But one day I noticed no gloves and no hair nets on the person handling the food.Even after being confronted the next following day the next breakfast the women had gloves and hair was out ,exposed to all that food.And the milk was in gallon jugs for several days,several people used the milk ,I wasn't going to at all.I think that some of these are common knowledge and requirements not being followed for my safety,I could be wrong.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fantastic they have a sweet shop with snacks and vending machines up stairs the its located right next to town so you can work and start walking! The pool was very clean and lots of fun it doesn't go to deep so the kids were able to have lots of fun! The breakfast had lots of options and was super yummy they even had juice selections which was amazing in my opinion!

My room 206 didn't have a window screen fortunately we don't have any small small kids that that would be a danger to but I'm sure it is a hazard

We went on a road trip from Texas to California and stayed at Hotel Ruidoso on our way with our 9 rear old and our puppy. We had a wonderful stay there. The room are very clean, bathroom was big and clean too. The staffs at the front desk were very friendly. We accidentally forgot our crate and 3 blankets for our dog after checking out, I contacted them, their manager Michael replied me super fast and helped me to send them back to Texas. I really appreciate his kindly help. It was a 10/10 experience at Hotel Ruidoso!

I love the free breakfast were kids can make their own waffles. 🧇

The swimming pool needs to be cleaned

The breakfast was delicious. The beds were very comfortable. I was actually inquired in buying a pillow. The restrooms were clean and handicap friendly. The tub was low enough and had a grab handle which was helpful for the family I was traveling with.

Apparently there was some sort of noise from the heater or a machine nearby that my family complained about which I didn’t even notice. Personally, I’m use to those sounds and it helps me fall asleep so I didn’t hear it.

Our greeting upon arrival was cold at best. The gentleman had come to work as we arrived. The person on the desk was busy on her cell phone and ignored us so the gentleman finally checked us in. There was a little league event going on and the hotel was filled with lots of families and children. The kids were allowed to run up and down the halls until late. There was even yelling between adult guests about the noise. No other guests could possibly use the pool as it was filled with lots of kids playing, having fun, but very loud. We told the front desk as we left and she acknowledged our concern but it would have been better to have done something about it the night before as they got other complaints.

The front desk went above and beyond, front check-in until check-out. The one girl that was at counter was very capable. When I asked her if any more eggs would be put out for breakfast, she asked is anyone back there? I told her I checked and no one was. She quickly put gloves on and got to work. She refilled all that was gone. When traveling good natured, pleasant people are wonderful!! She was! I didn't get her name, however she was there Monday morning 3/4/2024.

Our visit was too short.

The desk staff is outstanding. One of the staff members went out of his way to help my husband with directions and everyone was very welcoming and kind the room was clean. There are some parts that are showing a little Aware but overall we were extremely happy, especially considering the price. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a very enjoyable stay! We were greeted with a smile by Shadow the moment we arrived. We found him helpful and accommodating. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Parking lot was well lit. Location was excellent. Close to town yet quiet.

Soap was not plentiful as it was gone with only 2 showers which disappointed us.

It was in a great location to get out and walk around the touristy area. Breakfast had hot and cold options that I don’t see everywhere recently. The rooms and facilities were all clean and as described online. Most of my praise goes out to the staff though, specifically Brandon. He was super helpful with everything. There was a power outage that morning and the elevator was down but he and the other staff accommodated everyone to the best of their abilities to get them situated comfortably. Even amongst people complaining and being upset (which it’s not the staffs fault there was an outage) he/they kept their cool and provided great customer service.
