Brisa was super helpful and accommodating to us when we wanted to switch to a larger room. She was friendly and amazingly helpful. She is an asset to your company. The accommodations were located within walking distance of everything. Very quiet area, surrounded by wildlife. We were lucky enough to watch the elk roaming around. We would definitely stay here again.

The room didn't have any soap for the shower, but there's a grocery store close by, so we just bought our own.

Great location and cozy stay. Midtown was just a few steps away, making restaurants and shop walkable. Beautiful pine trees everywhere and quite a peaceful and quiet stay for being right in town. Loved the porch swing out front!

Room was a little small, as were toilet and shower. A straight to the point kind of stay, no extra luxuries. What you would expect for the price though, it was an economy room and it fit the bill for us. A couple more coffee packets and some real sugar and stir sticks would have been nice though 🙃

We arrived a little earlier than expected and the front desk was extremely helpful. She had said she would try her best to have our room ready, we went out to grab a bite and our room was ready within the hour. The rooms were great, very clean and spacious, the kitchen table in the room was perfect as we had taken our poker set to play, kitchen fully equipped we found everything we needed even a bottle and wine opener! (which we had forgotten to take) Parking right in front of the room was a plus! There are little porch swings at the entrance of your room, that was perfect my daughter loved it! Location of the hotel is perfect as you can walk up the street and head to downtown.

Pool and Jacuzzi were under construction, which was no biggie but it would've been nice to do that. There was a pretty large spider in the closet inside the restroom, but we understand that sometimes bugs are inevitable.

Very close to downtown! Great price and exceptional staff. I was shown to my room and greeted with respect . Property was very clean both inside and out.

Doors to exit and enter room 7 and 7A were a little difficult to open and make a loud noise. But once you get the hang of it it’s easy to open.

When we first arrived the first room we were in smelled of paint or varnish. I called and spoke with Cooper who upgraded our room and was very apologetic. They were doing a remodel on another cabin and were not aware the smell had affected our room. The next room was a 2 bedroom and it exceeded our expectations! Thank you Cooper for your excellent customer service. Will definitely stay at the property again. Can’t wait til their pool and hot tub are are fixed.

Pool and hot tub closed, but other than that it was great!

It is conveniently located in the center, allowing us time to explore, even though the shops in the area close around 5 or 8 PM. The staffs are helpful.

The small rooms don’t have a kitchenette, so it’s better to request one beforehand. The shower pressure isn’t very strong, and the door is difficult to close, causing it to leak.

The room was very clean. It was a quaint room, very cozy. The bed was comfortable. It was just the right size for my husband and me. I really like the self-check in and check out. I appreciated the call I received from the staff to let me know my room was ready. We were very happy with West Winds Lodge and will definitely stay there again.

The sink drained slowly. I couldn't get the dm shower to turn on, so that was awkward. I was already stepping in when I discovered it, so I didn't want to take the time to redress to get help.

The room was very clean and tidy. The bed did not bother my bad back in the least little bit. Staff was friendly and helpful on the couple of occasions I had contact with them.

Maybe an extra coffee service or two, but that is really nit-picking.

The staff was very friendly and proactive. We left our keys in the room and they called us almost immediately to come pick them up. It was very clean and quaint. I would definitely stay at this place again.

In our particular room it was not level. The bathroom was lower than the door. No other complaints though, however. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and it was quiet and very clean. The location is perfect as it is right in downtown Ruidoso next to all the shops.
