This is a beautiful small. hotel over looking the Hudson River. The room was very large and clean. The ceilings were high and let in a lot of natural light. The resturant on the fifth floor looked very nice, although I did not eat there. If you can eat or drink out on the terrace. there are great views of the river. The staff was very nice. While I did not buy breakfast at the hotel, you can do so or just walk down the street where there are some nice breakfast alternatives. I liked the town that the hotel is in. It is a nice place to spend a night or two while exploring the area.

I did not give the hotel the highest rating because it lacks a swimming pool. It would be a nice addition. Beyond that, was nothing not to like.

The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. There was some confusion about our reservation and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we have a good stay. Loved the location, the renovation, the rooftop bar. We were close to all the Hudson Valley has to offer. Hotel itself is peaceful and beautiful. Coxsackie is a really cute town - lovingly restored. Live music on the rooftop was a great bonus!

The rooms were not very soundproof. One night of our two night stay we had a young child Nextdoor and could hear him at night and in the morning. (Not a big deal for us - but I imagine could become an issue)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, with a lovely view of the river that added to the charm of our visit. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with tasteful decor throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a relaxing retreat. The breakfast was also a highlight, offering a great variety of delicious options. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this hotel to others!

While our overall stay was wonderful, one area for improvement could be the warmth of the front desk staff. We didn’t feel particularly welcomed upon our arrival, which could make a big difference in setting a positive tone for guests’ experiences.

First of all the hotel is just beautiful, swedish industrial design. It is obvious they paid attention to every detail. It was super clean. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. It was snowing all night so in the morning everything was white and the river looked wonderful. The breakfast was good and not expensive (a la carte). And the staff was very welcoming.

Just minor details, the coffee machine was outdated and there was only 2 packages for making coffee ( for 2 cups only). We missed a bin inside the room and only got 3 towels although we were four.

The rooms were extremely nice with beautiful views of the river. The outdoors area was amazing so that our dog could just like run around in the park right in the backyard. The actual town is extremely small so there’s only a handful of things to do and eat, but it was nice for the time we were there and the surrounding area has enough to do that it will keep you busy!

Just a heads up that the rooftop restaurant is not open all the days of the week so just look it up ahead of time and plan accordingly if that’s something you wanted to do

Nice hip furnishing and design; and the blueberry scones for breakfast were insanely delicious.

We got a view over the town street instead of the river. We were told it was fully booked so we couldn’t change rooms but it was a Sunday night and not many cars in the parking lot it seemed. The sound travels. Even with white noise playing all night, we could hear talking in the adjacent room as if they were in our room; doors slamming shut in the hallway, and kids jumping above. Also, fyi the Yellow Deli is run by a fundamentalist cult. Their literature is right in the entrance.

Location was right down on the river near Park that you could walk along the Hudson. It was very nice location.

The air conditioning system in the room seems to be activated by motion detectors. After you leave the room, the AC shuts off when you come back the room is warm and it automatically starts up again cooling the room down. Also in the shower, the body gel bottle is empty. After you run, the shower is a bad time to find this out when I mentioned it at the desk they said this was a problem they’re working on. The restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday. We stopped there because my wife really liked the clam chowder we had the week before. But the restaurant was closed the day we showed up.

This a new facility that overlooks the river in a small quaint town. Rooms and bathrooms are large and the common areas are comfortable. We didn’t eat at either of the affiliated restaurants but they look like good options. The restaurant in the hotel has a lovely view and I would try that next time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Btw, learn from my mistake: you’ll get a icheaper room rate through the voco website.

Everything was great. My mom is still talking about how nice she thought it was a month later!

What an amazing place and such a great surprise !! It is an old steel factory converted into a hotel with the perfect mix of maintaining the original character while being a newly renovated 4-star hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and we loved our tour of the reception hall along with a history lesson of the original purpose. The room was very spacious with high ceilings, the bed very comfortable and breakfast included with a waterfront view was an extra bonus. We will definitely stay there again on our next travels.

There is nothing that we didn't like except maybe not having a restaurant open for our late arrival. That being said though, they do have a roof-top restaurant opening next week, so looking forward to trying it out on our next visit.

Basically everything was great except the bartender.

Bartender decided to discuss our nationalities and why we were a couple with other clients (looked like her friends) in front of us, as they all assumed we don't understand much. As we showed no passports most I can imagine she got the info from the reception, who actually had seen our papers.
