The staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate my early arrival. The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. There's a kitchenette in the room, which is very convenient. Ample window for lots of natural light. The restaurant in the lobby for which a breakfast voucher was given was quite good and the breakfast menu was varied and of good quality. I enjoyed a different breakfast each day. The location of the hotel is good, too. It's close to midtown but outside of the hustle and bustle of the busiest areas. So, it was relatively quiet and the lobby wasn't packed with people waiting to check in or whatever (as I've experienced in hotels closer to, e.g., Times Square).

The room was a bit small compared to other hotels in the surrounding area I've stayed at, but not uncomfortably so. While I like having a kitchenette, this one's fridge was stocked with the hotel's drinks, which took up most of the space when I wanted to use it for things I bought at the supermarket. And there were no utensils (e.g., spoons, forks, etc.), so be sure to have some plastic ones in your suitcase (or get them from the supermarket if you buy something there).

Great central location. Separate bedroom setup giving privacy to co-travellers. Comfortable cosy lounge on second floor. Welcome cider available at entry hall.

Lack of ground floor gathering lobby, but lounge on 2nd floor was nice. Voucher for breakfast was confusing. Just $25 rather than 'make sure you order from the menu'. Toilet roller was broke . Housekeeping should note this. Not enough light in the rooms Kitchen had no glasses, plates or cutlery, but had a dishwasher? and microwave. Eating breakfast with plastic tools was way below par. Room decor was cool grey, could do with a warmer atmosphere. The city has more than its share of gray already.

The hotel is really well located with restaurants and bars within a short distance. We mainly walked everywhere and took a day tour so can't comment on the subway but I'm sure it was close by. Great patisseire accross the road. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was great. The room itself and the bathroom were specious and as we were on a high floor the views were wonderful. The breakfast is served in the adjoining bar/restaurant, which although only had limited al la carte choice, it was all you needed and the quality was very good. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay again when in NY.

Due to the breakfast being served in the restaurant next door, your account is charged for the fixed $25 p/p breakfast, then a credit of $25 per room/per day is offset. You actually end up paying for one person's breakfast, so be aware of this if you book with 'breakfast included'. Not sure if this was an ongoing policy or we were just caught out.

We spent a few days here and will be returning. It's a very nice hotel in the eastern part of Midtown Manhattan. Clean, no bugs. We had two suites, one with a balcony overlooking the intersection of E. 48th St. and Lexington Ave. It's a perfect place for conversations on warm nights.

My only complaints are the poor lighting in the bedroom and the unclear policy of charging for bottled water in the room. This should be improved.

I stayed here over the weekend with my 3 sisters. The room was spacious and overly comfortable; to the point that I didn't want to leave. We paid extra for late check out. I cannot remember the woman's name, but she treated me and my sisters sooo well. Our flight landed very early and though the room wasn't ready by the time we got to the hotel; the front desk clerk allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel while we grabbed a bite to eat. She texted us around 12PM to let us know that our room was ready. We had a welcome bottle of wine and fruit tray waiting for us as we entered the room. The lady at the front desk really made my trip and stay to NYC worth coming back. Thank you so much!

It was in a convenient location to access Manhattan’s districts and Grand Central Station.

We had a $25 a day coupon for the restaurant at the hotel. However we found out that they offer a different price menu for customers that have this promotion then if you didn’t have the coupon.

The welcome was amazing, the staff, the rooms everything was just perfect. Me and my dad stayes there for 1 week last december and I just cant say anything negative about the place, highly recommended if you go to NYC. Note for those who love whine, there is a bar inside the hotel at the main floor, with happy hour, perfect after a lonf day in the big apple!

Wonderful staff, great location, all our requests were fulfilled promptly. No issues with mattresses/sofas in our room, pretty quiet (10th flor). The room description mentions a kitchen, however, it’s impossible to cock anything as only a microwave included. It’s unclear why there is a dishwasher—there are no dishes at all.

From check-in to check-out our stay was incredible. The front desk staff were incredible - thank you! Happy hour in the lounge was a great treat after walking all day around manhattan. breakfast always delivered on time, fresh, hot and scrumptious. For a busy city like Manhattan, our corner suite was extremely quiet.

The only one thing I would change if I could, was the sliding glass door to the bathroom. we were a family and our daughter was sleeping in the lounge on the pull out sofa, so a proper soundproof door would be a great idea. Everything else was great.

The breakfast in the restaurant next door was nice if you are traveling alone… but pricey for 2. The location is quiet, staff friendly and helpful. The wine between 5-7 pm was such a treat to enjoy and relax in the lounge. We enjoyed the proximity to so many walkable or easily reachable sites.
