We recently stayed at the Park Lane Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with its location and views. Being right across from Central Park, the proximity to the park itself is a huge plus, and you can easily enjoy a morning walk or catch a beautiful sunset, or watch the sun bounce off the building from your room. (city view). The hotel offers a classic New York experience, with the luxurious, modern updates that make it feel fresh while maintaining its historic charm. The room we stayed (4108) was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the quietness of the space. The bathroom was also well-equipped, though, like some other reviews mentioned it is quite small. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive from check-in to checkout. We also enjoyed spending some time at the rooftop lounge, which offered stunning views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline a great spot for a cocktail. Housekeeping, Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and welcoming our room felt throughout our stay. The little touches, like fresh towels and the tidiness of the space, made such a difference and added to our overall positive experience. Overall, the Park Lane Hotel offers a quintessential New York experience, and we would recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional views of Central Park and great value for money. We also wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful experience we had, due to the LHR fire we had to extend our stay and change our flight’s it was super simple Adriaua & Diana at the front desk assisted with this, we did not have to move rooms, and the rates were kept the same as our original booking, also a complimentary late check out which was highly appreciated. An additional thank you to Shantigua at concierge, for your incredible support during my medical emergency during our stay.

We had to check in very early in the morning due to the arrival of our plane, and the team at the reception helped a lot with a lot of goodwill and support while waiting.

While waiting in the lobby, I neded to go up to the 1st floor for the toilet in the early morning and I saw a rat on the first floor. I have heard the news about the mice in N.Y. but I would never expect this in such a luxurious hotel. This made us feel unconfortable during our stay (thank God our room was on the 19th floor but still..!) The hotel.managament should/must find a solution for this! Other than that everything was great.

We arrived several hours before checkin and they were able to give us a room straight away. They also offered us an upgrade for good value price and we got a spectacular view of the park and a very spacious room. The bed/bed linen were very comfortable. Lots of wardrobe space and places to put your luggage away. Ample towels. Lovely bathroom products. Great shower pressure and temperature. Lovely lounge layout area to appreciate the views of the park.Great atmosphere downstairs by reception and the bar. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Water refill stations are great idea! The drinks, including coffee, that we did have in both bars were good.

The room was a little tired in places, paint work, etc. The bathroom wasn't quite clean enough...mirror, tiles had water marks that could of been easily cleaned. Slight signs of mould in shower. The cleaner didn't top up the body lotion in 5 days. Too many towels which I think is a waste...no option to say no to extra towels. The fridge didn't seem to be working. The aircon made vibrating noises. 6lifts to service the hotel and yet seemed to have 1 or 2 working which meant us waiting for lifts many times. Asked for room service once, for pot of coffee, and lead time was 20minutes which think is too much for coffee. Went looking for coffee and got it ourselves from the breakfast restaurant and they charged us $25 for two mugs of coffee..with a tip $30!

Location! Location! Location! Comfortable beds and pillows. 6 quick elevators.

No slippers, no ice machine in hallways. Polite concierges, but I didn’t like that whenever I asked them about something, they always showed me direction or other hand movements clearly making sure that that had a stack of dollars in their hands - making sure to show/tell me that they expected tips for whatever answer I was looking for.

Location was fantastic, roof top view was one of the best in NY, the window view is absolute beauty all day. First time in NY hotel rooms are bugger than you want them to be. Best place for a hotel near park - not so many people near but all central park places are very close. Service in a rooms - very clean and invisible. Fitness center is working 24 hours - and it's excellent for travellers with different GMT zone. Almost 11/10

In my opinion rooms don't have enough light at dark time, receptionist at check in it was very late night was not experienced enough - and because of it we spend more than an hour more to check it late at night, before more experienced manager stepped in.

I recently stayed at Park Lane Hotel in New York and had a truly wonderful experience. My room with a city view was spacious, beautifully designed, and very welcoming – the perfect place to relax after a day in the city. The highlight was definitely the rooftop: absolutely spectacular, with breathtaking views over Central Park that made every moment unforgettable. The hotel’s restaurants and bars were excellent, offering great food and drinks in a refined yet comfortable atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the staff – incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Park Lane Hotel combines comfort, elegance, and one of the best views in New York. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

The location and the friendly staff

I had opt to pay extra for a park view room while made a request for high floor during booking so that I could enjoy the Central Park view. But the hotel could only arrange 10th floor (out of more than 40 floors) when I checked in that I could only hear the noise of the street and saw a barrier of trees without the Park view which was really disappointing. I then requested to change room to a higher floor and the hotel staff was nice and let me change the room after the third day of my stay. The other issue was that the hotel seemed to be overbooked on that week that it was not able to arrange a room even after the checked in time of 3 pm. We got our room around 5 pm ……

The hotel was amazing. The location was central and frankly, incredible. It was easy to get Taxis as they were frequent and there were no crowds to fight. The view of Central Park from our room was priceless. The staff was nice. I did have a bath clog, texted the hotel, and within 15 minutes, I had maintenance engineers resolving the issue, and they did under 10 minutes. I was undisturbed with the clog, especially how quickly they resolved it. The hotel also called to follow up and we appreciated the concern. The hotel had a wonderful bar and restaurant downstairs that had entertainment and was open late. This was an incredible convenience when you're tried from the day and don't want to go off far. I do plan to stay at this hotel again. Very fond of it.

The location is fantastic - across the road from Central Park, right next to the subway, and a short walk to many sights. The beds are super comfortable. The staff are courteous, helpful, and professional at all times. The rooftop bar/ breakfast space has amazing views and top-quality food. There is a small fridge in the room. Our city views were fantastic. The room was spacious and lovely. Our room was not ready on arrival, but we were graciously provided food and beverages, which were delicious, while we waited and given breakfast. We would definitely recommend The Park Lane.

For such a beautiful, top-quality hotel it's disappointing that you are unable to make a simple cup of tea in your room. The air-conditioning did not keep up with the heat of New York in summer but we were kindly compensated for that.
