The breakfast was included and was excellent. There was a very comfortable large area of the lobby. Our room was very large with a sofa bed and extra TV adjoining the main part of the bedroom. it was the same price as a regular king room.

It was on the main highway. So there was no where to walk. And we could hear the people on the floor above us. We were on the ground floor facing the parking lot and could easily be seen. However an excellent restaurant was just up the main highway where the hotel was so that was a real advantage.

The price I agreed to at the time of reservation was NOT the price Booking.com sent to the hotel to charge me. You told the hotel I agreed to over 100$$ more per night than I agreed to at the time of the reservation. I wound up paying over 200 more than I expected. Sad situation as I was not EXPECTING the bill to be over 800 dollars!!

The price I was given by booking.com was NOT the price given to the hotel, they charged me over $100 more per night for the room I had reserved with booking.com. I am opening a complaint through the hotel as they are not at fault. Booking.com sent them the wrong price. I will be trying to get over $200 back from booking asap.

Property was super clean and had a great vibe. Right from the start with front desk Kathy, Ina and Nancy. We have traveled the country and stayed many nights at Hampton and this property was the best . The rooms were so amazing and spotless from top to bottom. This staff sets a high standard for all hotels across the country. I rarely write reviews but I actually could not wait to share this. Smiles all around this place!! Hats off Potsdam Hampton this staff sets the bar for success!!!

After a very long and stressful drive, I was looking forward to decompressing with a glass of wine, but alcohol is not served on this property - just assumed it was so did not bring my own.

The hotel was quiet and very clean. The staff helped me with a booking issue that was completely my fault without issue. Staff at check in and check out were very friendly. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the pool area was very clean. We live locally and came for a New Year's get away to use the pool. We will definitely return!

We have stayed at this hotel many times and it always meets expectations. This is the first time we have stayed in a king room. Very large and clean. Nice desk, chair and bench at the foot of the bed. large clean bathroom. Shower had nice pressure as well. Air conditioner worked well. I liked the workout room. Equipment was updated and they had towels that clean and ready for use. Breakfast was available and there until 10. They were able to accommodate a first floor room and now allow dogs for a fee, so we have the option to bring our dog for the next visit. This hotel is also very close to the college where our daughter goes. Staff was super helpful and friendly as well. I have stayed at almost all of the hotels in the area, and by far this is the best one, for comfort, cleanliness, and location.

I really can't find anything that I don't like. All hotels are expensive these days and for the amenities I got it was worth it.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and hospitable. The public areas were very clean as were the rooms. They had a large breakfast selection which was nice way to start day.

Great hotel in an area that has very limited places to stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, knew of nearby places to hike, had comprehensive list of local restaurants, and willing to help with whatever was needed. Very extensive breakfast selections, coffee available all of the time, ice machines on each floor, small canteen where you could buy snacks, toiletries, etc. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Due to Covid, gave option of having room cleaned or not. Fridge, microwave in room, HBO on TV, lots of towels. Lots of parking.

In May 2022, Covid numbers are up again, so I probably would have preferred that the staff, especially at the desk, wore masks. Indeed, the kitchen staff wore masks, so seemed reasonable that the rest of the staff would as well. Otherwise, no complaints.

Clean, easy check in and check out, plenty of space in room, and a nice breakfast provided.

The restaurant options near hotel were all fast food, so had to drive to get a sit down restaurant.
