I was a little worried when I walked in because the lobby might need to be refurbished, but the rooms were nice and clean and well appointed. The front desk staff was very nice and efficient. I asked for $20 or $30 off since I was checking out 19 hours early and her manager wouldn’t let that happen, so that was my only disappointment, but I understand because it was during a strange time of the year during the solar eclipse and I had booked it. The hotel is located right next to a train so you’ll hear a train coming through, but it is not a whistle stop. It didn’t bother me, but the kids noticed it. Speaking of location, hotel’s finest feature is that it’s located in walking distance to Hollow Park, which is a delightful park with a creek and lovely walking path and running paths. As you walk/drive in, there is a covered picnic area, at least one grill, and a playground. If you go up the very high path, you get to a high grass clearing and then you can take one of two paths. Path to right circles back to the playground. The path to left goes through beautiful wooded areas, fork to the leads to steps and parking lot at its end. All off a major highway. Hotel also located near downtown Piqua which has some beautifully restored buildings.

I didn’t try the pool, but it also didn’t look like a pool I would be comfortable swimming in.

I enjoyed a single night using booking.com I really loved their week day rates. I booked this double queen last minute..and was so surprised how clean the room was. The beds were made perfect.and my room had a large screen TV. Oh it was a big plus.. cracker barrel is across their parking lot. Thanks again. I'm definitely coming back here..in the future.

Nice location, easy to get to, close to everything you need to get to if going out somewhere.

The pool was cold, it's indoor but was cold lol but that is really on me for knowing it was and still getting in it. The raccoon by the back door trash cans was chilling, he didn't bother nobody. I do feel like he wished I had snacks for him though.

The mobility room's bathroom was nice and spacious with nice balance bars for getting in and out of the shower and NO tub. Thank you

The toilet was not for those with mobility issues. It was the low standard and seemed like trying to get on s potty chair

Good shower, nice to have the microwave and fridge. Beds were pretty good. Room was easy to use. Liked the desk and chair, chest of drawers. Breakfast was okay--mostly high starch and sugar (bread, pancakes, sweet cereal, oatmeal all with sugar), appreciated boiled eggs and peanut butter. It would have been nice to have an oatmeal option w/o sugar.

I asked for an extra blanked but it was never delivered.

Was very happy that coffee & hot chocolate were available all night. Checked in after 10pm & it was a cold night. Needed to boost the temp of water, using the microwave and the room's cardboard cup, but loved the treat of late night cocoa. Altho' not able to indulge, the heated pool was open til midnight. Room was clean & comfortable - no "ick" factors. Hard floors, not overused carpeting. Floor lamp that gave soft, low light that worked well as a night light.

Needs a second, basic chair. One chair in a room with two beds? Doesn't work even for just two persons. I think the poor workmanship of painting & installation of fixtures detracts from the effect of the refurbishing.

Great value for the price. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very clean. The facility appears to have been recently renovated. The flooring was very nice. The breakfast was what I expected and adequate for the price of the room. Really convenient to access the bike trail.

Everything,just had to take 2 pictures of one door that someone had hit and the shower rod was messed up.

The bathroom wasn't clean especially the tub.

Good location right beside Cracker Barrell. The staff is friendly and there to answer any questions you may have. Our room key quit working on the second night, they were quick to get us new keys so we did not have to wait to get back into our room.

Nice and quiet at nighttime. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

I did notice that they had ants in the bathrooms but otherwise we had a good stay!!
