You can tell that they have remodeled or updated the room. There was new flooring and the walls had recently been painted. The beds were very comfortable, maybe medium firmness, with mattress protectors. While the bedding wasn't anything spectacular it was very clean. Actually, the whole room was extremely clean. The young lady who checked me in was very friendly and made the check-in process painless.

The main reason for not giving it a higher rating was the bathroom. While clean, it was in desperate need of an update as some of the tiles were starting to pull away from the wall and the water pressure was not great. Also, I would recommend bringing your own pillow, as the pillows provided were very flat.

Squeaky clean, immaculate rooms/bathrooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Towels and linens were so clean and soft. Room rates were one quarter what nearby motels were charging during 2024 eclipse. If all you need is a clean and safe place to lay your Weary head, then Walton Inn is great.

Bed was concave- I kept rolling into the middle. The pillows were all covered in plastic cases, like a hospital. I understand about bedbug transfer, but the pillows were crunchy. Very rudimentary accommodations.

No breakfast but decent coffee maker in room. Older facility that is clean and recently spruced up, well maintained. Floors were not carpeted which I prefer over carpets as usually cleaner. Location in small town is off the beaten path but have stayed here three times in the last 2 years so I make an effort to stay here if in the area. Has microwave and minifridge in room.

No decent chair in the room, only stools.

Nice little place with a good location right on 224. The roo was good sized with a nice little dining area.

One of my personal pet peeves, no fan in the bathroom. The tv could be bigger, the refrigerator was a little noisy. All minor stuff, nothing that would stop me from staying there again.

The Staff was polite and helpful and it was very clean . Everything was working and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Mexican restaurant and other fast food. (Walking distance) came with a nice size fridge and microwave.

The bed was very uncomfortable, and it had plastic on the pillows and protecting the bed. It made it very hot.

The room was very clean and had freshly updated furnishings. The mattress was very soft, and the room was comfortable. The microwave was good quality, also the fridge was a very roomy model. I was very comfortable for a 4 night stay.

The only complaint was the bathtub drain didn't close, to fill for a bath.

Staff was extremely down to Earth and kind. The outside looked clean and new. The inside was spotless, we travel a lot and this had the cleanest floor, bed, bathroom- you can tell staff really cares and puts a lot of hard work and TLC into it! So grateful!

Good location friendly staff

Plastic covers on pillows and mattress. No one, I mean nobody, wants to sleep on a crinkly mattress cover I removed them all, there’s no way

Location was easy to find, very clean room, could not hear outside noise

Only issue I had and it really isn’t that big of a deal is the pillows and bed had some kind of protective plastic on it that made a lot of noise if your not a light sleeper and also made the bed feel hotter.

We will definitely be going back next year folks there were super accommodating and extremely nice and friendly! Please keep up the great work!
