This place is amazing! Don’t let the “classic retro motel” exterior fool you! This renovated vintage cutie was sooo nice inside! Perfectly minimalistic but every detail covered! Just what our weary but persnickety selves needed after a long days drive. Wonderful beds, crisp sheets and super comfy pillows. White, white towels, fresh and clean scent. Working a/c fan. Plenty of Hot water with great pressure. Felt safe inside the little courtyard. Owners are pleasant and welcoming. We personally appreciated all their effort to turn this into a great stop over for the sleepy traveler. Well done, owners! Travelers, you won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for comfy, clean and safe! The esthetics were very pleasing as well and simply coordinated.

Needing only a room for the night with no need of breakfast, pool etc., I booked this property from the reviews and was a bit skeptical but the location was perfect for my trip between Chicago and Austin with prices less than the well know motel chains. I was pleasantly surprise and delighted staying at the Sleepy Travelrs Motel that had modern furnishings, 50 inch TV, modern bath with large light up mirrors and comfortable bed and pillows. Large fridge and microwave were a nice extras. Water pressure was great. Clean room and bath with nothing broken or worn out. In terms of service, about after an hour after checking out, I received a call from the manager that I had left my phone charger on the room. At that point, it was too far to drive back but the manager agreed to send it to me. I have worked in many upscale hotels and know that service, cleaniness and comfort are the foundation of a great experience. And this simple overnight experience created a returning customer for future travels. Will come back and share with friends.

Perfect for a quick overnight stay, not for extra amenities like pool, health facilities, restaurant, var, etc.

I enjoyed being able to park right outside of my room. I also enjoyed the cleanliness of the facility and how nice/accommodating the staff is. I spoke to one of the managers as I was checking in and she is very kind and I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler. They also allowed me a late checkout!

I don't like how the AC has two settings, its either super loud or your room will be silent and super hot. Maybe find a way to have a less noisy AC.

It was a pretty standard little motel. I enjoyed the comfy bed and cleanliness of the room. There really wasn't anything to complain about I had everything I needed for a one night stay. Staff was very kind and helpful during checkin and checkout. Area was really quiet as well. It was pretty nice.

There was nothing wrong on the motel's end. I just missed it online where they require a deposit. It was not an issue at all though, I just wasn't prepared it was completely my fault. I'm not used to traveling and staying in hotels/motels so I didn't think of a deposit. All was good though.

This motel was a hidden gem! The staff were friendly and very good at their job and the hosts were so kind and brilliantly accommodating! Very friendly people who truly care about their clientele. I will be staying here again and again!

Unfortunately the only thing I could complain about were the insects inhabiting this part of the world at this time of year, which has nothing at all to do with the motel!

The room was outstanding and very clean and comfortable. The blank was a full size quiet, and the pillow were just right. The bathroom was well lighted. The room was quite from other rooms. The TV was nice and big!

The additional $10 added to clean the rooms. It would be nice to have additional out lights for the boats.

The whole room is designed to be able to be clean, convenient, comfortable, and restful. The property is cozy, ideally located and delivers excellent value. I especially like the orientation of the parking spaces, each to a room. It makes packing and unpacking a breeze.

The hot and cold water would change between ice cold to insanely hot but not really a big deal for me. Could have just been my room.

It's a cozy little motel that was very clean. The bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep. We loved our experience with the staff. We called for the AC to be turned on so we could sleep. They had the room cool for us! Great service ... great room... we definitely recommend The Sleepy Traveler!
