Almost everything was good. Fantastic view. Comfy bed. Clean. Fairly quiet,.

* The power at one of the beds didn't work. A slight hassle since I couldn't charge my phone next to me. * even though there are signs everywhere about NO SMOKING. People smoked all the time. Skunkweed coming into our room for an hour solid wasn't enjoyable. And cigarette smoke. Both the people next to us and below us smoked a lot. I get sick from the smell. Plus, I caught a cold, and that made it twice as bad. But this isn't the fault of the hotel. * kind of weak shower heads. My husband said it was fine, so maybe I'm picky?

The view is exceptional. Especially if you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor on the right side when you come into the parking lot! Wonderful staff and very close to the ocean. One of my favorite places to go!

I prefer the 2nd and 3rd floors on the right side. We've stayed on the 1st and people would walk by the balcony. Much less private in my opinion. The matresses, unfortunately, are horrible.

Clean, staff was helpful, price was good and I felt my vehicle and belongings were safe. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the waffles. Could see the ocean from our second floor room. We booked our room in the parking lot during a rainstorm and had no issues. Access to rooms is from exterior only and stairs only for the upper floors. Photos in the review were from the balcony of our room.

That I stayed a night in Astoria, Oregon before finding this place. We could hear the people on the 3rd floor walking around but was it faint and really didn’t bother us.

The room was huge; probably built in the seventies, but immaculate. With direct west facing balconies the sunset was beautiful. I was surprised by a decent free breakfast (which wasn’t listed in the hotels description on Booking). The hotel staff I encountered were excellent, including the front desk person and the friendly breakfast room attendant. Over all a blissful stay!

The breakfast was fantastic! The location is perfect.

Need to have 2 chairs in room so one person doesn’t have to sit on the bed. For this amount of money, you need a safe in the room. Our tub/shower wasn’t completely cleaned. A used bar of soap was left in the soap dish and an empty plastic cup on the tub rim.

The hotel is well situated, but the lack of elevator could be a problem. The room is clean, the ocean view is perfect. This hotel is very good for a night in this town. Would choose the same if I come back. The people at the front desk is very kind and give you good advices where to eat at a good restaurant.

The access to the third floor without an elevator could be a problem for some people. Otherwise the property is very clean and quiet, you will have a very good night. If you decide to sleep...

This place was just what the soul needed! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We were on the third floor in a room that had a balcony with a view of the ocean. It was great to have a beautiful view, yet not have to worry about anyone walking by our open door. We definitely will come back =)

We could have used a few more towels and a larger trash basket. Other than that, it was great.

Very clean, right on the beach, balcony, comfy bed, free breakfast and a coffee/tea bar, friendly staff, pet friendly, hot tub and pool.

The pillows were not good. The hot tub needs to be redone as there were chunks breaking off and the jets don't seem to work right. The breakfast was not good. The eggs had no seasoning, the potatoes were overly seasoned with rosemary.

The view. The view. The view. Our room was right on the beach, and the sunset/sunrise was amazing. My stay happened on the day of a dramatic negative tide, so the morning walk on the beach was spectacular. The pet-friendly room had a wood-pattern ceramic tile floor that was attractive and super clean. The room is very large and comfortable, and the bathroom was recently updated and beautiful. The breakfast buffet (included in room rate) is generous.

The room rate for this holiday weekend was really high, so my only ding in the rating is for high price. But for a last-minute booking on a holiday weekend, it was a beautiful place to land.

Location, staff, beach, cleanliness. The bed was great!

The Air conditioner was not working or the thermostat was not working or we just could not get it to work, but at least we could cool the room with the sliding door to the balcony with the screen and shades for protection from bugs while we slept.
