The room was clean, the size was good, nearby restaurants are good, the beds are comfortable enough, and you cannot beat the proximity to the beach and redwoods. The value is okay overall, and all staff members were kind, kiosk or otherwise.

The outsourcing of the front desk is depressing., but I imagine you have already had this feedback. The rooms have clearly been flipped but with little value added. Room 109 had a very small table. It is clear the same furniture was used in this room despite its larger size. The part lower portion of the bathtub for this room had detached from the wall and was loose/freestanding.

Location was great. Easy to find right off the main road. The paper coffee cups in the room and at the breakfast were wonderful.

We would have liked a real person at the desk instead of stuck in the kiosk. The windows in the room didn't open easily and the heat kept coming on while we had the heater off, so we were too hot. The way the curtains were hung didn't allow for adequate viewing or air ventilation/circulation. The grab and go go breakfast was extremely minimal. Yogurt, juice, or other fruit would have been nice. The muffins and granola bars were all very processed, sugary, and full of chemicals.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. E had the last room, closest to the street/101 Hwy yet the room was VERY QUIET. We were so impressed! Nice Seafood/Sushi/Bar Restaurant next door - walking distance. Not fancy but very cozy and nice staff.

The Kiosk Check in process is a little awkward but not so bad once you get used to it. A good idea with Covid surging again. The TV channels are confusing and impossible to figure out without a channel guide…. There is none provided in the room. I was able to get one from the front desk (after trying to interact with the Kiosk Automated Attendant, a live person came out to help me). I suggest they put a Channel Guide in each room. Grab and Go Breakfast, usual snack-type offerings.

Check in was with a girl on a screen located elsewhere while a lady that worked there sat and watched me from behind the counter and glass with a note that basically said Check in at the kiosk I can't help you. The kiosk girl is obviously doing this for multiple places from some remote location. It was so weird and uncomfortable. For the price there should be a human being in person that works there greeting guests.

During my solo travel journey from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco, I spent a night at this hotel situated right next to the beach and along Highway 101, about 30 minutes away from the Redwood State and National Park. Despite my room being located at the end of the building next to the road, it was spacious and clean, providing a lovely view of the beach. Surprisingly, the highway traffic was slow during the afternoon and evening when I visited, giving it more of a relaxed beach road vibe and adding to the scenic charm of the area.

The virtual check-in through the screen was undoubtedly high-tech and efficient, yet it felt impersonal to me. However, the front desk personnel were incredibly helpful when handing me the key. She helped me in planning my route to visit the Redwood State and National Park.

The location is amazing. I love that it’s pet friendly but doesn’t smell like it. And it has everything from a continental breakfast to laundry facilities.

We had to ask for a do not disturb sign but we’re told they no longer have those. They also said they don’t do maid service unless asked so we had nothing to worry about. However they ended up coming into our room to clean when we weren’t expecting it. I’m sure the maid got an eye full. So that was disappointing.

Close to beach

Being able to check in or out with personnel on property desk or to address an item left behind that was expensive my tennis shoes that had custom orthotics in them called 3 hours after I checked out no live person at property and they were too busy to look later no item was found it was right by the heater not included in my baggage don’t have it now I have to go back to the doctor and get refitted for new ones at the cost of 1200.00 at good feet store

It has chargers for electric cars--both Tesla type and standard super chargers. The place was clean and well located--with eating/dining areas very close by.

It's not the hotel's fault, but we got little sleep with the guest above us pacing the floors with the grace of an elephant for two hours until after midnight and then again from 5:00-7:00 in the morning. How much can one walk in such a small place? And why? Again, not the hotel's fault; however, it did affect our stay and attempt to rest before a full day of driving..

Perfect location right next to Crescent Beach. The room was super clean. We loved the room’s layout that included a seating alcove with a view of the beach and several windows we could open to let in tons of light and fresh air (something most motels are lacking). The best reasonably priced motel we’ve stayed at in awhile. Will stay here every time we’re in Crescent City!

Nothing

The room was fantastic. Everything was clean and the view was amazing. It was such a great stay, we stayed an additional night. The staff was great as well (Janice, Chad, and the other guy at counter were amazingly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly).

If there was one thing to mention.....it was that the sink was super loose when turning on and off...Room 10. But it wasn't anything to complain about....merely constructive criticism.
