The parking is wonderful because the spaces are each wide enough to open car doors on both sides of the car without hitting other cars.

The Manager is being taken advantage of by foreigners who mostly reside on the East Coast. They are typical cheap, money grubbers of the Second World type.The Manager is infact excellent and working way too hard. I'm certain the owners will lose him, much to the detriment of this classic landmark. The Manager here is expected to be the Maintenance, Concierge, Tree Service, Landscaping and Security man in addition to being a local guide, bookkeeper father of three and often a counselor to strangers that come through. Operating a hotel, bringing a hotel up to American Hospitality standards with so little support from the owners is an accomplishment in any case. I would hire him away from here in an instant, but his ethics are TOO strong. Awesome.

Convenient location. Felt safe, and the staff were friendly. Lots of ventilation, nice shower pressure, and the room had a bathtub. The bed was comfy, and the hotel/room was quiet. Pretty view of the ocean.

It was pretty dirty. The fridge wasn't clean, and neither was the microwave. The baseboards were very dusty and dirty. The bed was surprisingly clean, as well as the mattresses pad, which made us feel comfortable enough to stay. Could easily be a great place with some much higher cleaning standards. They could use some upgrades to their towels/amenities.. better coffee situation.

The hotel was in the perfect location for everything Brookings had to offer. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated my family with extra blankets for the chilly nights. I only wish the room had a broom for all the sand we inevitably tracked in. We will definitely be staying here for future trips and will recommend it to friends and family. The price was extremely reasonable as well.

My only complaint would be the pillows, they were a bit small and left us achy. I would recommend bringing your own personal pillow.

Staff was very friendly and nice. Hotel was very clean and for being on the Main Street/highway, very quiet. It is centrally located to the Redwoods and the staff knew of areas and shortcuts to get there, super nice.

The road construction was problematic, the City is improving and upgrading the sidewalks. So it was easy to miss the entrance, we had to u-turn back to get to the property. Looks like it will be done in a couple of weeks, but it is a City Job…lol

The Inn is located between the must-visit Harris Beach and restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful port of Brookings about a mile away. There are 3 rows of suites, one very close to Hwy101, and the other two set back and above the first. It is possible to see the ocean from the property which is a pleasant reminder of why one chooses to visit the area. The room was comfortable but there were a couple of items that needed attention- The helpful management responded positively to my concerns and appreciated the input. I definitely would stay here again.

I pre-booked a special on a king room which was cozy, but located in the first tier about 4 car lengths from Hwy101. The windows had been upgraded and the noise level from traffic was minimal. At night nearly no traffic, but a light sleeper would be unhappy. I would have preferred a room on tier two or three, especially if staying 2 to 4 nites.

Room was clean ,new floors,paint looks like the owners are working on it and it shows they care. Shawna at the front desk was awesome very nice young lady was so helpful taking care of our needs with the reservation . If we decide to stay in Brookings again I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The only thing I would change is the ability to get fresh air at night didn’t feel comfortable leaving the window open all night or adding A/C

I just needed an affordable night off of highway 5, the room was cheap and I trust choice hotels. The check in was pleasant, the manager even walked us to our room to make sure we used the air condition properly, it was 100+ degrees outside. From the outside it looked like I would not be happy but very pleased when entering the room it was clean, small but comfortable. A mix of old and new inside but it was all fine.

Staff is very welcoming. Very old motel, but they continue to work very hard making improvements. My room was sparkly clean and smelled fresh.

I wish the beds were the taller, more modern style bed, and I prefer the fluffy comforters that are usually in a duvet. Just my personal opinion, but I feel that the bed should be the star of the room.

The staff there was exceptional, both cleaning and desk staff. Thus is an older place, but pretty well maintained. Our room was clean and we appreciate that! It was a great value for our limited budget and we loved our trip!

When we plugged things in and used them, it flipped a breaker in the room. My husband knew how to flip it back on, and it was no problem for him.

The hotel is very reasonably priced and located near town, near the beach, and we can see the ocean from the windows.

The hotel facilities are old and dated, but clean and comfortable. Not a fancy place to stay but a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The staff was very friendly
