We liked everything about our stay. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of choices of foods and beverages. Location was good. Lots of opportunities to adventure in the area.

Please note..... I just filled out a review for this hotel in the last few minutes. I am hoping this review will replace my last one. I rated that stay poorly. I thought I was reviewing a different night of our trip at a different hotel. In my review I commented about a cracked ceiling and high cost stay with no breakfast... this was the wrong night of our trip. Please pull that review as it does not accurately describe our stay in crescent city. This was a very good stay!!! Thank you!! :-)

Nice clean hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again, if we were in the area We had a view of the ocean on the third floor. A nice long vanity was in the room. It was probably six feet long, but the room was large so it was never in the way. The room had an electric fireplace, which we did not use because the time of year, April 2025, of our stay. There was a pay washer and dryer on the first floor that we used, and it worked fine. Breakfast was nice. It was pretty typical of a hotel breakfast that is generally provided, except some of the sausage had a maple flavor, which was nice. The real bonus was the coffee machine. It made various styles of coffee, and it was available 24 hours a day.

Lobby was decorated in a fun and cool way. Room was very large and clean. Heat/air worked great. Microwave and fridge great. Nice view. Window opened so we were able to get fresh air whenever we wanted. Big plus. Fan worked well in the bathroom. Very nice to have shamp, cobd, body wash, mouth wash available in addition to the handsoap, coffee maker, creamer and supplies. Great tv channel selection. Nice to have a couch in the room. Free ice was great. Bed was decent. Firm but decent. Excellent lighting. Great location. Almost everything was perfect. Will probably return in the future.

Shower head water pressure wasnt strong enough to properly rinse my hair after shampooing. Pillows were a little hard on my neck but I brought my own jic because I get neck pain. Sat & Sun morning many breakfast items ran out. Large basketball tournament in town, which is what brought me and my son to Crescent City also, and sausage ran out quick along wiith most of the bread items on Sat. It was early around 7:30am. Sun we tried around 10am and almost everything was gone except for a couple pieces of toast and some cereal. I understand there were many extra growing boys as guests but since breakfast is included, I feel management should be prepared to feed ALL the guests and until 11am as advertised.

For anyone on a road trip seeking a comfortable and convenient stop in Crescent City, the Oceanview Inn and Suites is an excellent choice for a night or two. We stayed here while heading north and were thoroughly impressed. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hallway is beautifully decorated, offering a great view that truly lives up to the name. Adding to the value, the complimentary breakfast provides a good variety of choices, making for a pleasant start to your day.

The Oceanview is an older hotel with older, kitschy decor, but our room looked updated. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Temp control worked well. Our room faced the highway but the place was surprisingly quiet with only occasional road/lot noise. The breakfast was standard but the choices were well-stocked and the dining area was kept clean. We'd recommend the place.

The location is slightly removed from the 'downtown' area and beach areas, would be a LONG walk to anything of substance. The harbor and a large park are nearby, those are walkable. The rear-facing rooms have some water view but not outstanding. And you have to expect high pricing along the Oregon Coast.

My wife and I enjoyed our overnight stay at the Oceanview Inn in Crescent City. Our room had a good sized king bed, a desk, mini-fridge, and a shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The room was clean and comfortable. We decided to take out food from the grocery store and eat dinner in our room. We had yogurt, bagels, coffee and tea for breakfast at the hotel. If you are visiting the Jedediah Smith Redwood Park, this is a nearby recommended place to spend the night.

The bed was a little too soft for my taste. My wife thought that it was fine.

Clean and very nice. Exceptional staff especially woman at front desk and in breakfast room. Lots of employees that offer to help. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that had such wonderful employees. Breakfast had so many options. We stayed four days and could eat something different every day. Distant ocean views from our king room. Everything was incredible would recommend highly. No downside whatsoever

Location - close to our fishing. The look of the hotel was fun with all the ships. Plenty of room. Hot cocoa. Breakfast was good. Trail to walk on behind the hotel and view of the lighthouse. Staff was very accommodating with our early rise and late departure fishing excursion.

It’s a little dated - bedspreads and sheets (a little scratchy) but clean and well taken care of. Our room was right by bathroom and laundry so a little noisy at times.

The room was spacious and clean. The king bed was very comfortable with a medium firm mattress. The decor seemed dated but very functional. A large sink area in the living area was convenient. This was one of the few balcony rooms, which I appreciated and would recommend as a $10 upgrade if the weather is appropriate. The European-style breakfast was satisfying and served in a comfortable dining area. Since this is a fairly large hotel with an elevator, one detail I appreciated were the two luggage trolleys. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Overall, this is a very well-run hotel.

The bathroom was adequate, with a small tub and shower combination, but could use some updating. I would have preferred a walk-in shower.

Lots of parking, close to shops and restaurants. Free breakfast, and they always had free coffee machine going.. loved the choices of coffee\ lattes\ hot chocolate/ tea.

You could hear the fog horn in the distance about every 10 seconds in the evening. We thought it would bother us while sleeping, but it actually didn’t. The front desk has earplugs if you need them though.
