A Hidden Gem on the Oregon Coast! Hotel Garibaldi was the perfect peaceful retreat! Nestled right in Garibaldi Bay and just off Highway 101, this charming hotel offers a quiet escape without the noise of crashing waves or freeway traffic. The town’s 25 mph speed limit adds to the calm, making it an ideal getaway from the busier tourist spots like Cannon Beach and Lincoln City. From the moment I arrived, Riana welcomed me with open arms—and freshly baked cookies! What a treat! She radiates warmth, and it spreads throughout the entire hotel. She even keeps the pool open a little later for adults who just need some downtime and ensures coffee, juice, and cappuccinos are available 24/7 in the dining area. Little touches like this make all the difference! As a solo female traveler, I truly appreciated the extra security measures. There are cameras throughout the hotel, deadbolts on the doors, and a front desk staff member available at all times to assist with any questions or concerns. I felt completely safe and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but satisfying—a fresh waffle and some yogurt gave me the perfect start before heading out to Lincoln City for the day. When I checked out, I had the pleasure of meeting Alan. What an absolute gem! Originally from Scotland, he moved to Missouri before settling in Oregon with his wife, who is a nurse. His personality is fantastic, and as a Hibbs-Strange, I loved meeting someone with Scottish roots! Hotel Garibaldi is a hidden treasure along the Oregon coast, offering a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and the amenities were good. The location was convenient for our needs. The woman behind the desk was very helpful and answered all our questions about the area. Would stay there again.

We put the hotel address in to Google maps 502 Garibaldi Ave, Garibaldi, OR. It took us to the wrong place. Try it yourself. Guests MUST put Hotel Garibaldi in their maps,( not the street address) and they will get there w/o difficulty.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The lobby is warm and comforting, the staff is all super friendly and attentive. It's clean and the staff is quick to make sure it stays that way. A nice touch is that they have salt water taffy at the front desk and they offer fresh made cookies upon check in. The rooms are also spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is great and I really loved the design of the pool room. There was a good breakfast buffet as well. Great stay overall!

The visit was great- the sauna was out of order while we were there which would have been nice to be aware of at booking but they had signage at the front desk and for us it wasn't a big deal. Otherwise, absolutely great stay!

We stayed in a double queen bed room. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The shower (in tub) had very good water pressure which we appreciated. There were cookies and taffy at the front desk. The location was walking distance to the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad and a short drive to the Tillamook Creamery. The AC worked fine. There was an indoor pool that we did not use. Overall we felt that the hotel was over-priced for the small town of Garibaldi.

The area around the hotel seemed safe but was not very interesting.

The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. We'll equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker.. Starbucks coffee in the room and a pleasant breakfast. The lobby area was very warm and welcoming. Didn't use the pool..

The location was ugly from a view perspective. The pics made it look like it was on or near the water but it was on the highways and not very scenic. It was well located in terms of proximity to restaurants.

Everything from the check-in process to the housekeepers to the folks, keeping the breakfast items ready and refreshed, the service was impeccable. Breakfast had all the continental items - breads, cereals, muffins, croissants, spreads, fruit, juices, coffee and tea, and an “egg sausage cheese” dish or boiled eggs, for the protein lovers. The front desk staff arranged for the spouse and I to have wine and cheese in the breakfast nook. Extra towels and toiletries were available upon request, facilities were cleanly maintained, and everything was in working order.

Not a lot. Minor issues: Location is right on 101, which is a plus for easy access and and a minus for constant traffic but once windows and shades were closed we slept soundly. Elevators can be slow and busy. Our queen bed was showing its age. Hot tub and spa were not working when we were there with no short term prospects for getting fixed.

The staff was absolutely amazing, the hotel and rooms were clean, love that this is a dog friendly hotel and that there was free breakfast in the morning. When we checked in, we realized I had accidentally booked the wrong room type. The front desk went above and beyond to help fix my reservation and make sure our family was comfortable. Will definitely be back!

The vending machines didn't seem to be working

The staff at Hotel Garibaldi are extremely welcoming, professional, and just plain nice! I travel for work routinely and they are always a delight. Management is absolutely hard-working and extra on top of things. They all strive for your best stay, truly. I look forward to my stays there and really appreciate all of their continued assistance.

You really need to replace the pillows and pick up trash/paper from the parking lot. The staff was exceptional. The rooms were nice, breakfast was great! When we first pulled up I thought oh my what did I book but then we went inside to very tastefully decorated lobby and super helpful staff! We enjoyed our stay and would come back. Thank you.

The breakfast was nice. It included waffles and a decent selection. The staff were helpful and friendly. They had some great suggestions of places to see the beach and where to visit in the area.

The bed could have used a little improvement, but I that could just be me. The price was a little higher than I had hoped for but I think everything is going up now. There is not a lot of food options right around the hotel but there are more just up the road about 10-15 min.
