Overall had met our expectations except for the below: Rooms amenities-it’s not the corner room we expected but the room we got is good enough in the end, with an excellent view and quiet location. Although it needs weighing scale, slippers, telephone, vanity amenities like lotion,comb, toothpaste and toothbrush Restaurant-shld have bigger food servings, but the waiter who serve us has excellent service and notably friendly Front Desk- staff are ok only that their smiles are not welcoming enough, especially the Asian lady staff (who probably is just a trainee) that I approached first and she never answered and attended to my inquiry but instead it was the other guy who had answered my query . But overall our stay in Cedartree is good enough and had met our expectations that we look for in a Japanese hotel.

More staff orientation to make the guests at home with a more welcoming smile Should change the main door entrance as it’s quite unusual that it’s like a garage and guests would not imagine that there is a hotel inside. Transparency also signifies that the hotel is open to all type of people that they will give an equally exemplary service that would cater to all their guests needs.

This was our first time staying here and I highly recommend. The entire place is pristine and tranquil. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was incredible. We arrived late in the evening and my daughter ordered the bomber pizza and it was so fresh and delicious! We can't wait to come back and try more food from the restaurant. The bathroom has a bidet with a heated toilet seat. This place is a 10/10 !

My only tiny complaint was the pillows were not very comfortable, they were super soft but had no support for the neck, I will bring my own next time . Other than that the room was perfect!

The location of the hotel is great, the rooms are clean and the bathrooms are modern. Comfortable stay.

The reservation process from booking.com SUCKS and is inaccurate!!!! I ordered a double room for family and theg only had a king bed.... it was explained that they are unable to change that with this agency. The hotel apologized and accommodated us with a different room. A sincere thank to the staff but that sucks for others if they are full and cannot!!!! NOT COOL BOOKING.COM

the ambiance was peaceful. I loved the Feng shui. Koi pond in the lobby with a cute little gift shop. we upgraded to a King room, and the bath tub was MASSIVE! Also loved having a bidet in the room. We got a corner room which although was on the opposite end of the elevator, enjoyed all the sunlight in the am. Door dash delivered right to our door. They had a tablet in the room that I used to contact the front desk via a couple times and they were so quick to respond to my requests!

Unfortunately they only had basic cable 🫤

The CedarTree Hotel was exceptional. Upon arrival and walking through the sliding doors you are instantly met with a peaceful reception and welcoming staff. The hotel room was spacious, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the bathroom is divine, with a deep soaking tub. We were attending a baseball game and found that the hotel is a quick cab ride to anywhere. As much as we love children, the hotel was more centered toward adults, which we appreciated on our weekend away. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try the amenities, but we were already planning our return trip during breakfast so we could try the restaurant and the onsens.

There was nothing to complain about.

Amazing Hotel And Staff Were Very Friendly And Super Accomidating. Cleanest Hotel I've Been To, All Throughout Our Stay. Room Was Perfect Size Considering It Was Just The 2 Of Us. Bathroom Was Amazing With Walk In Shower And Tub. Pricing For Rooms Were Surprising, Since Other Hotels Are Far More Expensive And Don't Even Come Close To How Well The Cedartree Hotel Is. The Asthetic Had A Japanese Feel And Well Decorated Lounge And Restraunt🪷 Definitely Would Stay Here Again. Or Use This Chain In The Future. 🙌💯 Truly A Fantastic Hotel

Nothing, Everything Was Great!

I loved the concept and it was very beautiful inside. Rooms were so beautiful and the bathrooms were incredible!!

The pillows. There needs to be a firmer option available. I didn’t sleep well because of how soft and flat the pillows were. I didn’t like that the bar was only a sake bar and the hours seemed weird and I didn’t like the solid block of ice in the freezer when I needed some ice and I didn’t like that I couldn’t get coffee after a certain time.

Enjoyed the clean and spacious room. The decor and style reminded me of Japan.

One night we were pranked - around midnight, someone was knocking on our door and other rooms and we heard footsteps running away before we opened the door. It happened only once, so we just waited to inform the front desk in the morning and she was apologetic. It's not really the hotel's fault, but just something that happened to us during our stay.

We live in Beaverton, so we chose to stay here mainly for the Onsen-style public bath. I am from Japan, and my son and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the bath. If you prefer not to use the public bath, you can also relax in the deep bathtub in your room. Everything is kept very clean and fresh. I adore the coffee and water with lemon here. I'd highly recommend this place to everyone. It's not just a place to stay; you truly can relish your time here. Typically, I don't stay at the same hotel repeatedly, but it's my second time staying here and I'm considering coming back to this place again.

It's a minor issue, but we usually bring our TV Fire Stick and plug it into the TV. However, the TV was immobile, making it challenging to connect our stick.

Perfect location for our trip. Staff was accommodating and professional. Comfortable, clean rooms. Very reasonably priced.

Minor issue was that we heard knocking/bumping on the wall a couple nights. Not exactly sure what it was, but it was quite noticeable. We didn't mention it to the staff as the noise stopped after an hour or so. Also, would prefer a firmer pillow!
