Solid hotel in excellent location, some rooms are getting renovated as I type. Located at the end of trendy 23rd St, so walkable to a lot of trendy stores, coffee shops, etc. Convenient to public transportation. Good continental breakfast.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Provided with extra pillows we needed. Nice pool for exercise.

Parking is a little tricky. We had mid-sized SUV (Nissan Rogue) and about half the parking places were really too narrow for our rental car. We managed to work around the problem by watching for an opening among the larger spaces and moving our car there twice when we had started in a narrower space. We used measuring app on phone and inner spaces are 7 1/2 feet wide and outer rim spaces are 9 feet. More people would be happy if the inner spaces were repainted, though number of spaces would decline.

Very professional and kind staff - check in was easy! The hot tub was a treat both nights we stayed. The hotel is being remodeled but this didnt affect our stay at all. It was nice having a variety of breakfast options. Overall we had a good stay!

The location is very easy to get to and a short drive from many popular areas, but I do wish it was near a Max stop for easy public transit! The first morning, our hot breakfast options were varied, including bacon, potatoes, eggs, and sausage. The second morning, thry had 2 types of eggs and 3 types of sausage, which felt a bit repetitive and silly after the variety of the first morning!

The woman that does breakfast weekday mornings spends more time trying to sleep with all the men there than she does doing her job. Saw it happen with multiple men. She blatantly told my husband that she felt that her and him were a married couple and kept touching him. She was rude to me along with the other females there and seemed to only care about entertaining the men

Decent breakfast given price of hotel .happy there was pool and Jacuzzi.

Another guest who paid extra for parking in their "secure" garage had their car broken into overnight and objects stolen. As a consequence we parked outside but felt compelled to bring our bikes into our actual room since there was no bike storage and we were afraid of theft.

The staff was so exceptional! I am very impressed and will definitely stay here again! I needed an outlet outside to plug in a heater in my vehicle, and they went above and beyond to make it work. The breakfast was really good. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! Usually they are too mushy. I also like the security of the front door being locked and only key card accessible.

The location is more in a business area, not much in the way of places to eat. And alot of tents and homeless around.

Traveled for medical procedure. It was within walking distance to hospital. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Staff were pleasant and professional - dealing with unhappy people.

Booked for location and indoor pool. Pool was not heated to a reasonable temperature, so it was unusable in January, and there was no posted notice, just "sorry" from staff. The hot tub was working but jets were broken. Portland was experiencing an ice storm and parking lot was dangerous. If you parked in the covered parking you couldn't get out because the ramp was not sanded or de-iced. If you parked in uncovered lot your car was frozen into the spot and drive area was not cleared. Barely keeping area cleared in front of the entry door. Portland has frequent winter ice events and one would have thought that IHG would have an emergency PLAN and MATERIALS. Need some lessons from the east coast.

Breakfast was way above average for a "chain" hotel free breakfast. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Lady who checked us in (July 8 around 5:30 pm) was very welcoming and professional.

The area is semi-industrial but close to an "uppity" area. Great location near freeways, but you probably want to use your car for any sightseeing - not a place for strolling too far into the neighborhood in the "wrong" direction - just make sure you're going the "right" direction. But still a good place to stay.

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in Portland. It's very well located within a charming walk to various pubs, restaurants, boutiques, bakeries, even the baseball stadium. The entire area is fantastic. Additionally, I like the ease of parking, the friendly staff, the fact that the complimentary tea and coffee station is open 24/7. The suites are roomy and well-appointed. The bed is firm. What more could a person want?

We wanted a place close to Washington Park where my son was attending a day camp all week, and this worked well. If it hadn't been such a horribly gross heat wave we would have enjoyed exploring 23rd straight south from the hotel, there were so many restaurants and other interesting looking places! Speaking of the heat wave, the perfectly working and nicely cold A/C was much appreciated. The beds were great, and the room was very clean.

The breakfast wasn't all that, and after 5 mornings, it was a bit monotonous. The only thing my son wanted was pancakes, but the pancake machine kept breaking down, sadly. Future guests may want to bring a power strip if they plan to do computer work or have multiple things needing charging.
