I loved the staff and the location. The room was great too. We got a fully stocked kitchen which was very nice. Everything was super clean and well kept. The breakfast was so good too! I always expect a hotel breakfast to be some bagels and muffins or something. This was a full breakfast with eggs and potatoes and some kind of protein everyday. Really just exceptional.

The only thing I didn't like was the email that I received before I arrived. Specifically the part about parking. It seemed a little misleading in terms of how the parking fees work and the availability of valet parking.

The room was comfortable, the bed gave me the best hotel sleep I’ve ever had, and the smart location of the walk in shower control was a treat! The lobby was inviting and the beverages available 24hrs a day was a treat. The small shop has a good selection of food and beverages along with essentials that may have been forgotten. I can’t say enough about the valet staff; they were all very friendly and efficient.

While parking scarcity is typical in Portland, charging $55 a day for valet parking was a little high in my opinion. In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom and kitchen sinks was lacking.

Breakfast was pretty incredible. They had many GF options, even had a GF waffle mix and then they designated 1 waffle machine to strictly GF. They had dairy milk alternatives. vegetarian options. They compost. The Breakfast staff was super kind- shout out to Wanda & breakfast team! Gym was on bigger side with lots equipment and clean. Pool was clean and on the luke warm side of comfort. The double suite had 2 bed and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had stainless steel pots/pans, no toxic nonstick teflon pans (yay!). 4 hours parking on safe side street next to hotel or the self paid parking garage, super easy to find parking. We felt safe walking at night to restaurants/ice cream. Great walkable area to waterfront, Saturday market, & Powell Bookstore.

No complaints, would 100% stay again and recommend.

The location was key for me to be within walking distance of the downtown area. Also having the use of a kitchen area to prepare meals was essential. I preferred the room's amenities more than the restaurant downstairs. I enjoyed the room's large desk and workspaces, even its view of morning sun. I was comfortable and slept well. I had a family member join me two nights and they used the sofa sleeper.

Some issues arose with the bathroom. The shower flooded a bit. maybe its drain or hair trap needed attention. I would have appreciated having a nightlight available for the bathroom.

The location was excellent for the train travel, unfortunately being close to the train station presented us with a mixed group of people walking the streets. We had no issues but we were very aware of our surroundings. The hotel and staff were excellent and very accommodating.

The hotel was perfect for us while traveling by train to spend a night in Portland. Unfortunately the train station does not have the best clientele but the hotel was excellent at ensuring our safety.

Room is clean and very comfortable for travelers. Refrigerator and microwave are especially useful. Hotel staff are friendly. Answered my questions and solved problems promptly. In particular, I want to express my appreciation for the two ladies who worked in the breakfast cafe area, super friendly and made me feel at home.

Our suite was lovely & comfortable. The only exception to that was the pull out couch. Not very comfortable but I’m not sure I’ve ever tried one that is. The outdoor area is wonderful! We ended up getting take out & bringing it back so we could hang out there. We spent most of our evening out there & it was lovely!

One trash can in our suite had not been emptied. No biggie

The attention to providing gluten free breakfast items was very much appreciated! The room was spacious. Having tea and apples available throughout the day was very nice. Location was just a block away from the streetcar line. It was a perfect location. Decaf coffee was great.

Perhaps a bit more cut up fresh fruit options.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was awesome. The breakfast was good.

No parking. My husband and I where going to take the train down for our anniversary but had to change plans. I realize we are in the city and if we could have taken the train it probably would have been fine. Parking is limited and pretty expensive. They have an unloading area but we where not able to use it as there where to many cars. We just found parking. Paid and carried our stuff in

Nice big room, really helpful and friendly staff, room kitchen well-equipped, easy to order food in bar, free breakfast, comfortable decor, so nice that pets were allowed.

Kitchen garbage from previous guest wasn't thrown away, there were hairs in the shower, food quality is not great for a Marriott (weird Cheez Whiz in eggs), too many weird charges on final bill, parking is expensive. Still gave it a 9/10 in general though.
