Great location downtown, easy parking. Clean modern comfortable rooms. Downtown PDX has really lost it’s shine in the last few years though. Lots of trash/litter, unhoused people screaming at all hours, safety & security could be a concern as a lone traveler for sure. It’s sketchy these days.

There was a little confusion about my booking when I arrived. It was resolved quickly enough, when I asked to extend my stay, I was told to rebook the room online, which ended up being more expensive than the previous two nights in the same room. I feel like the desk agent could’ve handled this while I was in front of him. It was not busy.

The Hotel is groovy. Great art and nice staff. Clean.

I have stayed at Lucia probably over 15 times. The past 2 times i stayed i had room issues: loud heater which woke me up (this has been in 2 separate rooms), a room with a bad smell (staff got me a new room), and the last time the room had a bad mixer in the shower so my morning shower was luke warm ( room 310) - not good. I feel like the place needs a once over to make sure the little things are up to par for the price.

Great location downtown within walking distance to great restaurants. Staff are really nice. Gym is nice - two pelatons and a Lululemon mirror (although you have to sign in with your own account or the screens don't work). Inside facing rooms are quiet.

When we checked in, we requested a quiet room and were told we had one but were assigned a room on a busy road. Staff didn't know which rooms were on the road vs quiet inside facing. Not the hotel's fault, but the vagrant/homelessness problem in downtown Portland is out of control. They seem harmless but are everywhere downtown with several on each block in every neighborhood. We used to visit Portland often but won't again until the issue is addressed. The facilities charge is really high considering the facilities provided - no room cleaning, No free water in room etc. The fridge is really loud, we moved in into the bathroom for the duration of our stay.

What a wonderful hotel! The staff was so nice and welcoming. The room was amazing - spotless, the bed was comfortable. We slept like babies. It was super quiet, you don't hear the noises coming from other rooms or the hallway. They offer free coffee/tea in the morning, and a free beverage at 5 pm, which is cool and you get to meet some other travelers too! We walked almost everywhere, but there were many buses/trams around.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the hotel or our stay in general. The immediate surroundings are safe, very close to the tram or buses. Do keep in mind that the hotel is in the downtown area, and some streets can be a bit sketchy at night.

The hotel has a great location, withing walking distance to Powell's and plenty of restaurants and parks. The interior still has the charm of an old building with modern updates. The light fixtures in the building were particularly interesting and made the hallways feel like a high end gallery more than a hotel. Every staff member we encountered was warm and pleasant. We were celebrating something special and they went above and beyond our expectations.

I mean it's Portland, and it's my own fault for sleeping with an open window but someone outdoors, down the block was having a hard time and yelled in the middle of the night, but if the window had been closed I probably wouldn't have noticed.

Yes, this is downtown Portland, which has its own problems. But the hotel is secure, the staff were very responsive and helpful, and my daughter and I walked many miles around the area without any problems. They had secure valet parking that was easily accessed as needed but otherwise you could walk to several excellent restaurants and shopping in the area. The pinball machines were a great touch - as a Gen Xer, it was fun to play with my Gen Zer.

No Room service. However, that was not a major problem as there are so many restaurants around. I only mention it as there was one time that my daughter phoned the "room service" line looking for boiling water for tea and reached some unknown person who was incredibly rude. When we spoke to the front desk, they said it must've linked to another hotel because they don't have room service on site. Very strange. In any event, they apologized and got us hot water and anything else we needed. They also kept ice water on tap that we filled our water bottles up on daily - a big bonus in the heatwave.

Excellent location. Beautiful lobby and overall decor. Room was comfortable and functional, well lit, with numerous plugs for our devices, a good desk to work on, fridge, coffee maker that made good coffee. Two parking options: valet with unlimited access and across the street, public parking at half the price per day, but charged every in/out. We opted for the latter option (cost$28 per day) as we decided to not use the car at all while staying in Portland. Hotel has a loading area in front, making the whole process very easy.

They do not offer daily service. They said we could make a request for our room to be done. We made the request at check in and reconfirmed it as we left hotel at 10 am. We were assured that the room would be done by 1pm. At 1:15 it was not. We were offered to wait in lobby to have it done immediately. At 1:25 we were assured housekeeping was in our room, servicing it. At 1:50 we headed to our room to find it unserved and with no one inside. We declined waiting any longer. Front desk tried to make things better by providing a discount, which we appreciated very much, but I would like to have returned to a room with clean towels and no previous day trash.

The staff were so kind one of the best experiences I’d had with staff members at a hotel. The staff went above and beyond when it came to request even for just a toothbrush they would bring it up to your room. Every time we entered we were greeted very graciously even by the doormen. The location was very central you could walk to everything which was really nice money wise !

The location was nice for being the city but if your walking at night I would be cautious because you may be approached by people wandering the streets .
