Loved the decor, ambiance and set up of the entire hotel, as well as the rooms. The rooms were spacious with several other seating options besides the bed. Loved having the loveseat option as well as the desk/desk chair. The TV was extra large, which my husband was estatic about! All the staff were super friendly even though they had to work extra hard due to low staffing. The restaurant food was delicious! We would definitely stay at the Duniway Portland again in the future!

The temperature was super chilly in the lobby. Limited staff, so it took a while to check in and the restaurant was only open for breakfast seating, otherwise we had to order to-go for dinner. Having a microwave in the room would be nice.

Lovely room with a great view. Great location for walking around and exploring. Ate in the restaurant on site, they were very helpful when I mentioned I was gluten free, and the food was outstanding. Bed very comfortable and shower powerful and nice and hot. Multi story parking garage located at site which was very convenient.

Disappointing that breakfast wasn't included as standard. Parking too - we paid 70 dollars for 2 days parking.

I was in town to take the NCLEX - RN (exam to get your RN license) and this was the perfect hotel to stay at. It's so close to the Fox Tower where I had to test and close so many other great areas Portland has to offer. The room was really nice. I had a great view of the city and the bed was really comfortable. And the breakfast, talk about amazing. Smaller menu options, but it was so delicious. I had a yogurt and granola bowl with fresh fruit that was to die for! I paired that with an open face breakfast club and it was the best breakfast I've had in a long time! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. The staff was super friendly!

I loved my stay overall but a few things I would have enjoyed were: •A microwave in the room. I got thai food for dinner and wanted to reheat my leftovers but was unable to. •It would have been nice if there was a hot tub in the pool area as well. I was looking forward to soaking in a hot tub and didn't realize there wasn't one when I booked. •I'm also not sure about if I'm getting charged for breakfast and parking. Before I booked it said included so I'm hoping it's included in the price I paid and I don't get charged extra. If I do, that will be on the list of things I didn't like. Overall, great place to stay I'd definitely come back!

Rooms were big, outstanding view (which I paid for), nice decor and very clean. Hotel in a great location allowing easy walks to quality restaurants.

While rooms were clean, corridors were not. Throughout 3 day stay I observed empty food bags and area of dirty carpet, due to food spills, by the lift for the entire stay (floor 9). Used cups left outside doors by house keeping, usually for the entire day. Not a good image. We were informed of destination tax and were told it comes off additional spends (like food) at the hotel. This was a mess, with overcharging and incorrect calculations on the bill. We corrected it at the time of checkout.

3 things I liked about The Duniway was the travel credit I received upon checking in, the location of the hotel and the Bluetooth speaker available in the room. I used my travel credit to eat at the restaurant downstairs and they had delicious French fries. The stores I wanted to visit were no further than 15 minutes away which was pretty great. I bumped my music (respectfully) on the speaker in my bedroom I had an awesome time getting ready.

I did not like the breakfast service at the restaurant downstairs (despite the dinner service being so great). The servers seemed to be all over the place I think I saw my plate of pancakes going to a different table before the server realized it wasn't correct.

The facilities, amenities, and location of this hotel were great! I really enjoyed how clean and comfortable it was (from someone who has some hotel horror stories). I was only there for 1 night but my stay was so nice that I know I'll be back! The hotel lobby is very beautifully designed and captured my attention immediately while searching for hotels. I also thought the hotel rooms, gym, and pool were nicely designed and well kept. The hotel is close to many Portland attractions including Powell's books and Pioneer Square. It was also nice being bale to walk everywhere. I didn't take public transport the one night I stayed here but because of its central location I imagine it would be easy. Paying the extra bucks for the city view was so worth it too. Got to see the city at night and early in the morning which was stunning! The staff were very polite and friendly as well. They helped me with the parking situation, making it a seamless process. I really don't have anything bad to say about my stay here!

The only complaints I have are that parking was not made very clear. The night I arrived it didn't seem like valet service was operating and driving into the parking garage was tricky. The time of year and duration of my stay made this hotel more affordable but under other circumstances, it would be quite pricey.

It was a nice place and located around the happenings at that time. Walking distance to everything. Overall experience with staff was good. Our window faced the river, so that was a nice view at night and in the morning when it was foggy out.

There was definitely some wear and tear to the room, and the tufted channeled headboard was clearly scratched up. I'm not trying to complain because I understand that people will be people.

The design and comfort of the room was fantastic. We loved the espresso machine in the room and the great city view. In addition, the location was perfect for the concert we came to attend at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

The only thing that would have improved our visit would have been later hours for food and perhaps, but not necessarily, room service. A late night menu for those returning from an event at 10pm would be really nice.

Check-in was smooth, the staff at the front desk were nice and answered any questions I had, the room was very nice and it was also clean. The parking lot is accessible via elevator through the hotel which was very convenient.

My only complaint would be that the pillows could have been nicer. Not the comfiest pillows especially compared to other hotels. We only stayed one night but I think if we stayed longer I would have let the staff know and I'm sure they would have done their best to find better ones. Safety of our vehicle in the parking lot was a huge concern for us prior to and during the trip. Not the hotel's fault but more so the current state of downtown Portland. Our vehicle was fine because we took the necessary precautions but we did see one minivan with their rear window smashed and overheard that their luggage had been stolen. Just something to be weary of.

Room clean and with a decent view from it's top floor. Big TV and able to connect by chromecast to your media accounts: Netflix, Amazon, and other entertainment sites.

Pillows are massive and bed very hard. Not sure it's worth to stay in downtown. The city is very dissapointing. Feels like its not alive. I'm sure you can get a better rate for your buck, outside DT. Parking is a challenge. We chose vallet parking just because the parking is offsite (nearby) but inconvenient. It is just another regular DT parking lot that doesn't belong to the hotel.
