Breakfast was amazing! The omelette station was so great! The service workers were very attentive and helpful. My son loved the waffle maker. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the evening were a great gesture! The pool and jacuzzi were so nice! We spent a lot of time there. The music was kind of a nuisance because it’s so loud and echos. But not a big deal. Elevators were quick. Location was perfect!! Close to so many shops and restaurants. The retail stores, Nordstrom, CVS, Nike, etc., are a very short couple blocks away.

The shower doesn’t drain while you’re in it which is gross. Maybe it needs to be a weekly chore to clean those drains out. There should be a coffee and tea bar set up 24/7 as people who are traveling are tired and would like a coffee at hours other than breakfast. The room got cold at night and I don’t know if the thermostat even worked.

Great value for the suite, loved the extras (free drinks and snacks each night, pool, omelette bar at breakfast), location was great and staff very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Also loved that it was pet friendly.

The pullout couch was basically a bunch of metal springs encased in fabric. It was extremely uncomfortable and in my opinion cannot be claimed as a legitimate sleeping space. Parking was also very expensive. The breakfast buffet needs another waffle maker. My kids and I waited about 25 minutes to get 3 waffles on a week morning.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland, housed in the historic Multnomah Hotel building, offers a blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. Our remodeled room was quiet, spacious, and well-appointed with quality materials and instant hot water, ideal for relaxation. Although "view" rooms are available, they offer limited scenery. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional, featuring custom-cooked omelets and a wide variety of other options. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment throughout our stay. In conclusion, Embassy Suites offers good value with a pleasing mix of history and modern convenience. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Parking is pricey at $60 for valet, but a nearby garage offers a more affordable rate at $8 during special events. The hotel's central location is close to nightlife and Voodoo Donuts, though it borders some less desirable areas of the city. The in-hotel store's pricing was the only notable drawback, with significantly marked-up essentials.

Room was great size and facilities with microwave which is rare but the sofa bed when opened is directly hitting the TV cupboard. WADE was exceptional! He checked us in and when there was communications I had with a colleague over the phone that wasn't reflected in the system, Wade assured that he will take my word for it and that went a long way for how I see the hotel. While I could have been unhappy the colleague didnt reflect our convo in the system, Wade did make it right! he also was so polite to excuse himself and had to answer the phone to put it on hold and the communication was amazing --to me and the person on the phone. WHen the phone kept ringing, he politely phoned a colleague to address the phone call so that both me and the caller were both taken care of! Amazing. When I asked about Christmas festivities, he immediately looked for the info as it will benefit me and other guests in the future. SImply exceptional - and all that with a big, authentic, classy smile and demeanor. And oh, did I say he followed up about our stay over iMessage? Amazing, i hope he gets a promotion or a raise. this is customer obsession. Such a class act!

The property it was a good location good place and it was so beautiful inside my family and my kids like a lot

What I don’t like from the property and the room I was staying it was bad because when I was taking a shower, it was a lot of water outside of the shower and to the floor and we had to use the towels of the water not go around at the bathroom that was one of the main issues they told me because is all property of floor 80 years old that’s what they saying. I don’t know if it’s true or not. Also, they laughed the soap setting and the chair and the tattoo the manager about these and they told me they were going to take care and they never did it they left it again, somebody laughed it before me arriving to the room there was somebody soap with the hair and that was disgusting for me

Obliging staff, big rooms, comfy beds, great pool and hot tub, convenient grocery store inside

The breakfast was delicious, with someone making omelettes and eggs as ordered, but the breakfast location in the downstairs basement (‘Arcadian Gardens’) was horrible. The location of the property was good in the old downtown. But the old downtown was empty and a lot seedier than we expected. When we walked fifteen minutes west into a newer part of downtown, it was much nicer.

Location was rough and most of all NO Parking. Had to drive around 25 minutes to find a place to park, then carry all our bags 2-3 blocks!!!!! A lot of wasted time and energy was spent for that. No blankets in our room. Had to walk down at 1am to get 2 blankets. Not happy. Also, no close place to eat after 11pm. Your food snacks were closed by the door in the lobby. Door dash was 45 minutes and then missed a whole meal in our bag so someone didn’t get to eat after paying 90.00😢. I’m over 60 and not going to walk the streets.

All staff were friendly and helpful. The late afternoon/early evening complimentary reception was great; perfect for a snack to curb the munchies while deciding on our evening activities.

The breakfast buffet seemed understaffed when we were there; the food was fine, but arriving halfway through meant that it was hard to find a clean table to sit at. Again, all the staff that were there were friendly and working hard, it just seemed like they were a bit overwhelmed compared to previous stays.

A beautiful hotel! Very 1920s and was clean all the time. The suite was super spacious and very luxurious. The breakfast was impeccable and the fresh cooked omelettes were 😍😍😍 staff were really friendly and the lobby was beautiful, and they let us wait there after checkout as it was too early to head to the airport

The location felt a bit far away from points of interest

Very Cool Old-School Hotel with new hotel Amentities. The Beds were Very Comfortable. The evening reception was a nice way to end the day, and the on-site restaurant was quite good. The morning breakfast had lots of good options, and made-to-order omelettes available.

There was nothing I needed changed. We had an excellent, large room with comfortable beds. I would recommend getting a room that is not on the interior if you don't want to have a view of just the other building wings. We had a top floor end unit, so we had a view of the city.
