I stayed at Comfort Suites Bloomsburg last week while driving from Toronto to Philadelphia. We chose the hotel last minute (stopped at a gas station and picked the city and then the hotel 2 hours before getting there). There were 3 families driving in 2 cars. Hotel is jut beside highway #80, you don't need to drive for 15 minutes after leaving the interstate to get there. The arrival to the hotel is a bit weird, you kind of drive through a Lowe's store to get to the hotel. Plenty of free parking available. Check-in was ok (a bit slow, single person working there late at night). They had free water available in front of check-in area which was nice after a long drive. Our room (#106) was perfect, pretty new, comfortable beds and pillows. We had 2 queens and a sofa bed which was very accommodating to our family of 5. There was a mini-fridge as well. Wi-Fi worked great, including for streaming. Bathroom had enough towels and dispensable shampoo and soap. The AC worked very well. There was an arcade (half of the machines were out of order), a pool and a small gym. We didn't use any of those amenities, we were there to sleep and leave early next day. When we woke up and opened the curtains, WOW. The view from our room (I'm guessing all numbers with even number have this view) was amazing, really pretty. We went for breakfast which was VERY good. Coffee, juice, pastries, toast, egg, sausage, very good selection. We checked out and travelled to our final destination. I recommend this hotel 100% for what we paid for the night.

We had to keep renewing our door key at least six times in two days because it was not working. Having to keep going back to the desk to have the card renewed was irritating. Especially because I was on crutches and in a knee brace. The staff accused us of putting the card near our phones, which we did not. Our friends that were traveling with us also had issues with the door key card. The bathrooms were not thoroughly stocked with towels, and the vanity had dirty used q tips behind soap dish and on other side near shampoos. They may have been short staffed that day but each room should be cleaned.

From the moment we walked in the door, Carolyn was so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She is a wonderful staff member! The room was so clean and spacious. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds. I’ve slept in in years! And the breakfast was a nice Friday. My kids love the waffle makers! We definitely will be back here again :-) thank you for giving us a wonderful stay!

The Buffet ran from 7 AM to 10 PM. We arrived at 8:30 AM and there was no fruit left at all. And it wasn’t replenished by the time we were done eating.

Hotel was being newly renovated, modern vibe, very nice! Room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Lots of outlets/USB ports and a large full length mirror. Bathroom was very bright and light up mirror was perfect for doing makeup/hair. The lobby was very welcoming and open, and front desk clerk Donna was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast spread in the morning was very good, with plenty of choices! The game room, pool and equipment rooms were just like the pictures.

No complaints at all! Pleasantly surprised as we stayed here for a night as we were passing through the area.

In general the staff was very friendly and helpful, but in one incident they stepped above and beyond! We left a toy turtle, but the staff maids found it and it was located on one of their carts. When I called it was found and we arranged to have it mailed to my house address so my guest would have it before they left the United States.

The sleeper sofa couch I slept on was not very comfortable, however the two queen beds my guests shared were extremely nice and they were pleased with it.

Location was great. Stores and restaurants in walking distance.

The floors in the room were not that clean. My feet were very dirty after walking around with no shoes or socks on. I found a water bottle with something red in it behind the shelf unit holding the fridge and microwave. There were pieces of paper under the shelves that the towels were on in the bathroom. Otherwise all other areas of the room were pretty clean.

HVAC in the room was not updated like the other rooms I have stayed in recently, analogue controls, not digital, and probably had not been maintenanced in too long , with a musty/moldy smell. Door did not close smoothly, and I hate guests who let the door slam, but with this room it was the only way to get the door to close.

Location is right off the highway but tucked away behind a Lowe's. Weird spot, but quiet. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. No complains until we were awoken by a drunken lad projectile vomitting in the adjoining room at 7am. That was disgusting. Will NEVER book an adjoining room again, lol those walls were PAPER THIN like my appetite that morning.

I was disappointed with the shower/tub . The tub did not hold a seal. The shower head and spigot/fausset need to be replaced as it sprays off to the side and continues to spray and drip when running the water for a bath . I felt the price I paid for the room, at least the shower/tub, should have been much better.

Nice convenient location. The heated Indoor pool is great. Very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast is a buffet style of choices hot and cold, not just coffee and a dry muffin like you usually see at other places when it’s advertised. The room was a nice size, clean, quite comfortable and what a beautiful view!
