I don't usually leave reviews but...My daughter had an early morning surgery at Danville hospital. Pine Barn Inn is basically on the hospital property. I couldn't of chosen a closer place to stay if I tried. The staff were very helpful from booking accommodations to showing us where our room was. Extremely clean, well decorated and very affordable. Would recommend this place 1,000 times over!

It would be helpful if the bathroom had a stand to place items to get dressed and ready.

The rooms were neat and clean and was perfect for me being able to be close to my Dad during his stay at Danville Hospital. The breakfast I had there before leaving was very good and the portions were generous! I would highly recommend this place to stay at for anyone that has a loved one that is at Danville hospital and needs to be close to them.

The only complaint I have is maybe having more coffee for their coffee machine in their rooms. Instructions on how to operate it would be helpful too.

Love the large suite, and the breakfast are good and very reasonably priced. Absolutely love the friendliness of the staff.

The tv stand was very dusty. No conditioner available at the hotel (I asked). Also noticeable dust under hvac unit in bedroom. Was surprised when told no one comes into the room to clean or change towels- we are well past COVID and this service should be provided again. I took care of my own garbage.

Nice restaurant, room was decent, nothing particularly stood out but overall it was a good experience.

It would be nice if there were early coffee and continental breakfast available. So many hotels are offering this and it is a very nice benefit. The hotel did have a station to offer coffee but it didn't start until 8am which is late for us. There is a restaurant on site that serves breakfast but we would might stay at a chain if we were there again because they are similar quality with more amenities.

close to family...the front desk staff was friendly and helpful....having a restaurant on property was convenient and the prices were reasonable...the staff there was also friendly.

having to get towels and or toiletries from the front desk...no house keeping... also the check in desk needs better signage to be found...It caused much frustration when we arrived... we were overtired from travel, it was dark, and terrible weather... it was a poor first impression of the property. While the restaurant had pros we didn't really like the food unfortunately... average to below.... the value of the room to me was a 79 dollar a night stay

It was clean, comfortable, well kept.

Actually, it seemed like a long time to get hot water in the shower? The property was a little spread out & it was hard to locate the front desk? We got there late at night, in the rain? There could be a place to get snacks on site?

Food was good and reasonably price. However the patio/bar closed at 8pm which is extremely early for travelers who want a few drinks after their day and dont want to drive.

The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is because my daughter got locked out of the building when she went to grab something out of the car. Her key would not work. It was late and the office was locked too but a worker saw her and cut her a new card. The next morning my key also did not work and a maid had to let me in my room.

Receptionist at check in was great. Called me by name when I entered the lobby. Room was very clean and had all that I could ask for. In room coffee was great and appreciated the in room water. Ate breakfast at the restaurant and we enjoyed that as well. Great place!

Only negative is that we don’t like soft pillows. Maybe since you give four pillows, two can be soft and two firmer so you have a choice? Still slept well though!

The Pine Barn Inn is in a great location in Danville, within easy walking distance to the city. Excellent parking, with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is also great for any meal. We stayed in the newer wing, and although that is also starting to appear a bit dated, it was clean (and most important to us) very restful.

We didn’t dislike anything, but the carpet in the room could use some refreshing.
