The location was Perfect! We were visiting for the Lil League World Series. It is close to the stadium and our experience was enhanced by having contact with the players and their families at the hotel. The breakfast was Amazing! The breakfast staff and evening staff in the bar area were Extremely attentive and Friendly🩷

The rooms are outdated but charming and very accommodating. I think updated carpeting may remove the “old” scent in the room. The AC didn’t seem to work at full capacity , especially in the seating area of our room. However, with the ceiling fan, we were very comfortable sleeping.

The buffet breakfast was amazing!! The even had grits-a southern favorite-and I was not expecting that. They had the best baked beans I have ever had although that is not a traditional breakfast food where I am from. The bedroom was nice, clean, and comfy. Free parking onsite. I felt safe as I was a woman traveling alone. Really enjoyed the live entertainment: that was a welcome treat! And Williamsport is just very picturesque. This hotel was close to everything.

The motel style rooms near the pool. Needs to be made clearer there is an inside hotel and a motel in the back with doors that open directly to the walkway near the pool area. As a single woman traveling, the front desk staff had no issue with changing my room and even giving me a one on a high floor with great views!

The old pictures were nice to read and look at. The old railings and wood work were beautiful. The hints of grandeur were beautiful.breakfast was great and staff a pleasure to talk with

The modern aesthetics. The ceiling tiles are damaged and ugly. Bring back the old world feel to this iconic hotel. The main lobby and hallway carpeting needs cleaning. Remove the Super 8 looking front desk. Keep the doors closed to the parking lot to save heat and have a safety barrier. Move the gambling machines down where the out of order vending machines are. Put the computers in the corner behind the privacy screen and put the piano out to the lobby. Junk can be seen stacked up in a back area from the 8th floor window, not what I want to see and a safety hazard. Benches should be outside not chairs

The breakfast was amazing! The hotel itself was amazing, the history, etc. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful as well. The woman at the desk held my dog, Rooster, for me while I grabbed to go breakfast quick. She was so nice. The woman at breakfast was also so nice and helpful. If you get a chance to look at all the pictures and explore a little, it's too cool. The bed was comfortable and the old plumbing in the bathroom was cool! I will definitely stay again if I get a chance.

There was a beer bottle cap and bandaid wrapper on the floor in the room when I got there. Granted they were under the bed/behind the nightstand... but still. The TV also didn't work, it just showed "no signal" but there was also a terrible snowstorm, so I can't really complain. There was also an ice cream container left near the elevator, which was quite odd.

Buffet breakfast was delicious. Except there were no regular scrambled eggs left or ham. They brought more out as I was further down the line, so I had to get in line again, but did get enough food. The fruit & coffee was great. I was there during an extremely busy day (a Penn State home game & a wedding). People showed up near closing time & very crowded. Not the hotel’s fault. My room was beside the 2 elevators on the 7th floor & I could hear banging as these old elevators made their way up & down this high rise hotel. Parking lot was full, so I parked in someone else’s parking lot (a M-F lot). So not a problem, but had to carry quite a bit for a city block. I need wheelie luggage, not an over-the-shoulder weekender. Staff very pleasant (Bree at front desk very nice & helpful regarding phone call about parking). Clean & comfy & slept well all night through. Elevator noise did calm down after midnight.

I loved the historical memorabilia on the walls of famous people who stayed at the Genetti. The original mailbox and letter drop feature was neat to see. Entering and having "Jeeves" greet you was absolutely incredible. I managed to get a room near the "haunted" ones by chance, so that was thrilling. No ghost sightings or paranormal activity, luckily. Even the welcome letter was the most heartfelt and kindest thing to read after a long day traveling. The authentic and antique furniture and hardware in the room felt maintained and authentic. Best bacon I've ever had at breakfast too Very! Very cozy hotel room.

Can't recall anything that I didn't enjoy.

The hotel was right next to the community arts center where we were seeing the symphony orchestra. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were just the best people ever. Thanks to Kyle and Courtney for their friendliness and wonderful personalities. Cannot remember names of restaurant staff but want to say they did such a wonderful job on a busy night. Breakfast in the restaurant was beyond expectations, sooo very delicious! Thanks to everyone for making our stay a magical evening. Looking forward to many repeat stays.

Loved the location, friendly staff and hotel atmosphere. Parking was a breeze. Enjoyed the Friday night band, and sitting outside to listen. Breakfast had a wide variety, was very tasty and I appreciate the real dishes (rather than disposable).The note on the pillow was unique and brilliant. It was a very comfortable layover midway through our travels.

In our room, the shower was at a very low height. At 5'4" I barely managed to get under it. For my 6' 2" son, it was impossible. If needed, he could have used the tub. Not sure if that was and issue in other rooms. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

This hotel is beautiful! It's historical and so interesting. The night staff member was also totally incredible--he was so friendly and we felt very welcome!! It was a great fit for us--3 girls on a trip and we got switched into a room with three double beds! It was PERFECT. Also the breakfast was maybe the best hotel breakfast I have ever had? The variety and quality was unmatched.

It is historic, and that means there is some grime/older things in the room and around the hotel.

Love the Genetti. We stay here whenever we visit family in Williamsport. Great hotel, great staff, and reasonably priced. Included hot breakfast can't be beat. Also, they allow pets which for us is a must.

I was going to list the $25 dollar per night pet fee under what we didn't like. And I still think that our old, 3.5lb Chihuahua with no teeth and pad trained shouldn't be the same as a large dog. But we do understand the need for a fee to cover the cost of extra cleaning. We do think that the hotel should have staff routinely police the outside areas where pets are allowed to relieve themselves. It was obvious that pet owners here do not pick up after their dog and that the hotel does little or nothing to clean up these areas. The hotel does provide bags and a trash container in the pet area.
