Loved the history and the location.

Nothing was open at the hotel. The restaurant and bar were closed the entire stay. We were very disappointed.

The location was beautiful, especially the hotel, inside and outside. It's amazing with how old it is how well preserved they kept it. The food there at the hotel's restaurant is delicious. Also, with the hotel being haunted, I was super excited to go because I've never stayed in a haunted hotel before. I'm very into paranormal activity, but have always been skeptical about if you can really feel spirits or not. I definitely felt a strong presence here, so much it really caught me off guard, yet was so freaking cool!! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, the restaurant and bar area were fantastic. Lots of free parking. Historic hotel. Porch was very cool, even though it was a little cold, they did have a fireplace.

Could upgrade the mattresses a little. Bathroom door handles were very loose (Although exterior door and locks were very secure).

My granddaughter and I got in late, around 11pm. It was a history lesson spending a night and the following day in Abbeville. Loved the antiquities that the Belmont has acquired over the years. Beautiful in their own right, they were beautifully displayed as well. Starting with the check in "desk", and it just goes on from there.

The weather did not cooperate for our weekend adventure. Which brought to light the desperate need for an "unloading" area, preferably dry. Even at the very least gutters for that tin roof at least in the loading/unloading area. Especially in the corner. I went to load my trunk and without realizing it I was directly under the "corner pour spout" as I bent to unlock the trunk I got completely drenched. The next 3 hrs of travel weren't comfortable, but life goes on. I just thought I would share what I thought would be constructive. I also know that there could be historical limitations on what you can and cannot do. Ultimately you could request a variance. Such as you could to become FULLY handicapped accessable.

The new owners, along with the rest of the staff are amazing. Very kind and accommodating! This was my third time here and still love it. The interior and exterior is beautiful and historic.

The hotel and staff are wonderful. No complaints. They do an outstanding job!

Staff has been friendly and helpful each time we’ve stayed there—nice job of making guests feel welcome! Breakfast room is tastefully decorated; each table has a small centerpiece—looks great!

There is mold around the tubs/tile in the bathrooms. The problem can easily be solved by spraying with a mold & mildew product, letting it sit for awhile and then wiping off any excess with a soft cloth.

Our room was lovely, comfortable, and clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and went the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

It would have been nice to have two chairs and perhaps a desk in the room. That being said, the absence of these did not affect our stay in any way.

Within walking distance of the town square.

Breakfast area needs to be monitored more. We had to call each morning for refills of coffee, milk or Creamer. We also ran out of paper towels.

It was a continental breakfast which was fine as we weren’t looking to eat that much. Orange juice was very good . We appreciated Jim giving us a glass of a very nice wine as the bar/restaurant was not open on Monday when we arrived.

Staff was extremely nice, from manager Blake on down. The location was great and the room we had was beautiful and comfortable. Thanks to everyone for your kind hospitality.
