Staff very helpful. Able to walk out to beach from hotel. Accommodations were fantastic. Nice size, full kitchen was nice touch

Time share sales company based in lobby. Not liking the sales pitch when I'm trying to just relax. Company's desk was at hall leading to restaurant. No way to get to restaurant without sales pitch.

Our room was very clean. Cleanliness is very important to me so I was very happy during our stay to know we were in a clean room. We had 2 housekeepers that week who were friendly and respectful. As a busy mom of 3, having clean towels and the trash taken out daily as well as 2 full cleans for a 6 night stay was the best part. Other pros: location, the hula fire show was fantastic, friendly and helpful staff, and the delicious virgin drinks you can get in 2 locations around the pool. Core memories made with my kids at the Avista! I know the reviews comment on the parking situation but do not let it make you change your mind. We drive a van and had no issues with parking and bell staff drive you back in a golf cart. Staff help you with unloading and loading and you park right there at the hotel while doing that. It’s really not a bad parking situation.

The only feedback I could give was lowering the prices for the kids activities or adding more materials/extra kits to make the money worth it

The parking across 2main highways, no crossing light,no walking bridge and no valet. The registration garage is impossible to park without scratching your car and almost impossible to get out of the garage

Liked location on the beach, to shops, restaurants, and parasailing. Bell hop and check in staff were great. Rooms were nice and clean, beds, pillows, and living room furniture were comfortable. Room and kitchen were well furnished and maids were very nice and helpful.

The check in parking with one way in and out was circus/fiasco. Getting in and out of parking garage was always an adventure, barely enough room to pass, had to constantly stop a back up to let people through, thank goodness for the corner mirrors. The hallways with out air conditioning were miserable.

Everything was just fine. My room was on 14th floor...excellent location. Close to elevator. Very nice resort. Maid service great with extra linen. 1st floor restaurant was better than last year. Menu had more selections. Breakfast bar was fine. Nice view from balcony. Liked the TVs. Parking was great off loading and loading to leave. Hope to stay here again. Thanks for everything.

Wish the shower had more water pressure. Also sofa was a little sunkin. Needs more firmness. Had to flip the flush handle on the toilet to stop it from running occasionally. All minor items.

Everything was wonderful! Comfy bed, clean, polite and helpful staff (especially the gentlemen helping load/unload cars and get people headed in the right direction for check in... they were seriously gems). The restaurant located within the hotel "Just Off Main" had pretty good food, too. The staff working in the restaurant and bar area were super friendly and ready to help or just chat. They have an unlimited DVD rental program in the lobby with DVD players in the room. The dishes in the kitchenette were clean and good quality. We cooked a steak dinner in the room with garlic bread, potatos and salad and had everything we would ever need. This is such a nice place to stay. If you're looking for the perfect, low-key place to stay for a long weekend during the off-season, this is it... I will also mention the KILLER sunrises you get to witness right off of your balcony. Truly, it was a wonderful experience, and my husband and I are both sad that it had to end. We will definitely be back...

Room wasn't the cleanest (behind curtains , under stove top) Also the thermostat sucks not being able to really control the "auto" settings...

Everything was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and fit my entire family, and very clean. And the beach view from the balcony was beautiful! All of the pools/hot tubs/lazy rivers were so fun. Plus, there were so many of them that there was never too big of a crowd in one section. The location was PERFECT. Very close to everything, yet definitely not in a crowded area. Staff were wonderful and were happy to get you anything you needed. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great!

I like the rooms. The room was nice and clean and the beds were so comfortable . I had everything you needed to make breakfast/ dinner. All the pots/pans even a toaster. Since we traveled for Christmas nothing was really open on that day so I had to cook and everything I needed was in the kitchen. I would say at least get one cookie sheet to go in the rooms. That was the only thing missing. The view from our room was amazing. I'll be booking again very soon! This is my go to hotel when I come to the beach.

Parking is horrible they need a bigger garage & bigger parking spaces. I drive for a living and I still had an hard time parking in them little parking spaces.They have an entrance and exit but coming out the garage if a car is coming up you'll have to wait all the cars come up the same way and come down the same way unless you have an handicap parking sticker and they are located by the exit on the ground floor. There's no guarantee you'll get one
