I live 30 miles away and had a 5:30 AM surgery appt. So decided to drive in and stay in Abilene instead of driving in the dark morning hours. My main purposes for choosing this hotel were proximity to hospital, price, and good reviews. All these expectations were met. Very easy drive to the hospital. Very comfortable room. No outside noise. If I ever needed to be in Abilene again overnight I'd stay here. I'd recommend it to company I might have. I left before breakfast was serving so can't speak to that but it looked like a nice eating area and the counter looked like it was more than dougnuts being served.

This is not the Hilton and you don't pay the price of the HIlton which was about 50% more expensive. It's an older hotel which can be seen when looking at the woodwork. But it doesn't feel old. Bedding is great, bathroom was spacious and clean. For my needs the Hilton wasn't worth the increased cost. The Hampton Inn and some other more expensive hotels were across the hwy from this, same off ramp. I think this place is best value.

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was so down to earth and friendly. It was so nice coming down for breakfast and seeing the same people, always smiling and laughing. It felt like one big family. The cleanliness was top notch, hand sanitizer everywhere, smell of clean throughout. A wonderful place to stay

I don’t like that I hadn't found this place before. I will stay here every time I visit now. 10/10/10

Well located to i20 off and on and some restaurants close. Easy trip to ACU campus

There is a trick to the a/c.. control is on the wall not at the unit.. TV is also a trick.... under the monitor is a button to push for the right HDMI imput. then you can use the remote otherwise don't try They jack my rate from 90 to 125 cause it was a Sat stay -- booo

The hotel was easily accessible & away from other businesses & traffic, so it was very quiet. Our room was a nice size with all the necessary amenities & probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. Staff was welcoming & the breakfast actually goes until 10:00 am on Sat & Sun mornings, which is nice for those not so morning people.

Even though it is a clean hotel, it could use some well needed TLC. There was a bench in our room that had a huge black stain on most of the cushion. It wasn't a crucial piece of furniture, so I do not know why it wasn't just removed. Many large tiles in front of the bathroom had popped loose from the floor, making it feel like a falling hazard as you walked into the bathroom, but the biggest issue was that we didn't even need to use our key cards! You could just push the door right open because no matter how hard we tried, we could never get the door to latch. The hotel was sold out & luckily, we were only there for the night, so we just used all the extra locks once inside the room for the night.

Breakfast was good, pretty standard hotel breakfast. The bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows available. Shower got plenty hot and had great water pressure. The room was clean but the furniture had some wear and tear. Nothing broken just worn down. Front desk agent was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Room next to us was super loud and noisy most of the evening, sounded like a party was going on in there. Room was freezing when we got in and it took a while to warm up. It was set at 60 degrees, and it was in the 50's outside.

Room was on first floor. Quiet & very convenient. Front desk staff very accommodating. When I arrived, my room had a lot of pet hair on 1 of the beds... so they quickly resolved the situation by moving me to another room.

The property needs more parking. And some repairs are needed on the outside... seems as tho a truck that was too tall tried to go thru the breezeway drive.

i liked the location and how the building looked nice/not run down. the hotel room was decently sized and clean!

one of the sheets did have a decently sized circle of a brownish/yellow stain, i threw them off the bed but obviously i’d rather not see something like that and expect old white sheets like such to be trashed. the shower was clogged so water wasn’t draining as fast as possible, felt gross since there’s no telling how clean the shower is due to the rock like designs

The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a fridge and microwave and builtin closet.

The shower was very nice - perfect temp, good shower head. BUT there was no place to put the soap! You had to hold it or put it on the floor. Also, there were no grab bars or towel bars anywhere close to the shower entrance.

Friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, good sized room, cold air conditioning with record high temps outside, little gym to work out in, conveniently located off a main road and near restaurants, free toiletries

Could have been cleaner, breakfast was inconsistent (great one day and just ok the next)

The rooms we spacious and quiet.

The door was very hard to open and close without a lot of force. You had to check and recheck that it was properly closed and latch was locked. It was incredibly noisey each time entering and exiting the room.
