Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast. Cold items were cold and hot items hot. Not all hotel breakfasts are that way…. Every area was clean. Entry and halls, breakfast area and rooms were clean. And they were mopping while we were there. The lady I talked to while making reservations got everything right and the young man that checked us in was just a really nice guy. Both very genuine. Parking lot was 3 spaces from being completely full but we never heard the typical hotel noises. Very quiet.

For the reasonable price, I can’t think of anything.

Room was clean, quiet (even though right on the highway), and comfortable. I was able to get extra pillows and towels when I asked. There were no safety strips in the tub so I decided to take a bath. Unfortunately the stopper would not work properly, and the water was slow coming out of the faucet. I abandoned that idea, and took a shower. The shower head was small, but pretty forceful. Shower cap (provided) was helpful because it was spraying in all directions (needs cleaning out). I told MGR/Host about stopper/faucet & he said he would get it fixed. There was a pool and small work-out room, but we did not use. Ice machine was only downstairs. Breakfast area was small but clean. Food was good and selection was good with hot and cold choices. Manager apologized for having to put us upstairs, but said next time to make a note on special requests, and they would accommodate if possible.

I stayed at this hotel when new at least twice, so was really disappointed that it seemed so run-down. It could use some fresh paint! And I did not remember that it does NOT have an ELEVATOR. I am older now, so it really does make a difference to have to carry luggage upstairs.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly especially Mr. Ali. He allowed us to check in before the normal 2:00pm check in because we were attending a 2:30pm wedding that afternoon. The breakfast was not bad at all, hot and fresh. We will certainly stay here again the next time were in Brenham.

Mattress and pillows could have been a little softer!

I did like that everyone was very friendly and also they was able to put both rooms next to each other.

The breakfast was horrible. It wasn’t kid friendly breakfast, only 2 kinds of cereal raisin brand and frosted flakes. I was very surprised it wasn’t eggs, sausage and bacon. I was just expecting more than it was. Also I feel like the price rates was too expensive just for one night. I had to purchase 2 rooms and it was just way to expensive. The final thing I didn’t like that pets where allowed in the hotel. My last last visit I didn’t experience any of these 3 issues. I feel like these 3 was the down fall of what I didn’t like.

The man who runs the place is very nice and always available if you need something.. Very interactive with us! Made us feel at home! We had a great time swimming in the pool! Overhaul our stay was great!!

It smelled a little wierd in our hallway and our room but we also had 4 people that were probably farting and adding a different smell to the room lol!

Nice variety and fresh coffee was excellent

I pretty much enjoyed everything, but I was concerned about the swimming pool. It had some black mode all over the sides of it. My granddaughter wanted to swim. I was reluctant to let her swim. I feel like if that was addressed it would be an awesome trip.

Location, price, friendly staff. Next to a steak and seafood restaurant. AC worked great.

Old building with paint peeling on doors and frames, pool appeared dirty but again could have been paint peeling (I didn't take a closer look). Shower drain was clogged so you would be standing in a pool of water.

The size of the room was great. Bed was comfortable and with clean linen. Nice continental breakfast which would have been better with some eggs and meat Located close to the freeway and right next door to one of my favorite restaurants "SeaLand " Staff was very friendly and efficient

Found 2 unwanted bugs in my room during my stay. I killed both of them before they could hide. Need to have the entire motel sprayed by pest control to avoid this situation

Front Desk staff was AMAZING! will definitely be back another time. Mr. Ali was there when I checked in and when I checked out, he was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

I didn't mind using the stairs but maybe elevators?

Probably one of the best super 8s I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned well and the breakfast was fresh.
