Was able to check in an hour early, room was clean and no smelly issues. Ac was cold, bed was clean, had warm comforter, pillows were so soft as was the bed. Bathroom was clean and stocked. It had regular size shampoo and body wash, several clean towel and kleenex tissue as well as a full size lotion bottle. They give a nice goodie bag at check, with bottled water and a bag of chips. I only stayed one night, was there for my niece’s funeral that the city of Brownsville gave her. The hotel was 12 minutes from the church. Staff were amazing and so nice and the free breakfast is awesome. They have a full spread breakfast. Eggs were cooked right, sausage, oatmeal, potatoes, bagel, toast, english muffins, cereal, juices, muffins, yogurt, make your own waffle, boiled eggs, and so much more. I will come for sure stay here again.

The only thing that I can recommend, is the lock on the bathroom door needs to get fixed. When you close it, it does not lock. The pool did not provide any sitting or shade(umbrellas).

loved that place, welcoming staff that get u situated so u can enjoy ur stay ASP , good location places near by so u can have fun , rooms super clean and super comfortable love to get under those covers so cozy and breakfast 10/10 and to top it off late check out just great

The room was nice sized. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 4 so we were given a wheelchair accessible room. Location is great. Near lots of restaurants and stores. Breakfast was provided.

Room service is not automatic. I asked for room service one day and it wasn't done. Kinda of expensive room for Brownsville.

The property was clean and had very good location.

The beds were not comfortable. I’ve stayed at other Hampton and the beds are very comfortable.

Close to where i needed to go

Homeless guy in parking lot asking for money to wash my car or food- friendly enough though.

The bed, and overall atmosphere in the lobby and room and hotel itself was really nice and homey. It felt “warm” and inviting. And I loved the privacy I felt.

I think redoing the showers might help. It’s not very nice to be showering with paint peeling off the tub. Also no cable all weekend. That was a bummer.

Breakfast was good. Location was great!

I was charged $20 for my son spilling chocolate on the sheets. I'm sure the stain would have come out once it was bleached. Guests should not be charged for this.
